AMERICAN Pickers star Mike Wolfe has revealed the identity of a mysterious biker in an early 20th century photo.
The History Channel star first shared the photo on her Instagram feed days earlier, asking fans to provide any clues as to the biker’s identity.

On Saturday, Mike, 60, returned to the social media platform with an exciting update.
After sharing the original Photographasking: “Photo of Merkel at the beginning of the flight, I have never seen this bike before. If anyone is familiar with this bike or this pilot, please mention this post,” he identified the pilot.
The American Pickers star posted a series of Photosincluding a side-by-side of the first photo he posted on Instagram, along with another photo of the same man.
“Thank you @frettedrevival for solving the mystery of the motorcycle that ran in the photo I posted a few days ago!” He wrote.
“Introducing Charles Fearless Balke. Started racing for Merkel around 1908 and later went to Indian and Excelsior. He died in a tragic bicycle accident on June 8, 1914, aged just under 23.”
Mike continued, “I love the community of history warriors who come together to keep all these epic stories alive.”

Fans are eager for American Pickers to return for a new season, despite the show’s ratings struggles.
Earlier this month, Mike shared a behind-the-scenes photo as well as details about when the show would return.
In the photo, Mike was seen standing in the desert with his back to the camera.
He was walking towards an old car, dressed all in black.
“@JeremyThomas You managed to take one of the hottest photos I’ve ever done and make it even hotter!” he captioned his post.
“I loved having you on the team, friend, your work is incredible and you are a beautiful human being.”
