BACHELOR Nation got our first look at new Golden Bachelorette, Joan Vassos, in action as she filmed for the show.
In May, Joan, 61, was revealed as the star of the reality show.

Earlier this week, the first Golden Bachelorette was spotted filming for her upcoming season.
Upon arriving on set, Joan stunned in a pair of ankle-length jeans and a low-cut white blouse underneath a cropped pink jacket.
While the star was ready for a taping, the TV personality quickly changed her outfit into a skin-tight purple dress.
Her fashion choice showed off toned arms and legs while showing a small portion of her chest while wearing the cut-out dress.
The star also had her blonde hair down and her makeup perfect.
The show appeared to be filming a competition when a member of the Chippendales was seen walking around the set.
Extras were lined up around the block with signs ready to cheer on this year’s men competing for Joan’s heart.
Joan was also spotted with Kaitlynn Bristowe, who was on season 11 of The Bachelorette.
The Bachelor alum showed off her fit figure in a short, long-sleeved red dress and high heels.
JOAN’S TIME ON THE GOLDEN BACHELOR
Golden Bachelor fans have already seen Joan when she appeared on Gerry Turner’s season last year.
However, in the middle of the show, Joan had to leave due to a phone call she received from her daughter.
She took Gerry to speak to him privately outside the Bachelors Mansion.
Joan said: “I got a text this morning and I think I need to go home and be a mum.
So as much as I don’t want to leave and I don’t want to abandon our journey, I have to go home and be a father.”

Theresa and Gerry were married in January live on ABC. Four months later, the two announced that they were divorcing.
Gerry was disappointed with Joan’s decision, but understood why she had to leave.
“There is a moral compass that we both share and sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest thing to do,” he said.
WHAT’S TO COME
After the big reveal, fans were treated to a teaser for the upcoming season as Joan walked down a gold hallway wearing a gold dress.
She also carried a golden rose and said, “I’m Joan and I’m your first golden bachelorette.”

On her Instagram Stories, Joan reshared the video and revealed that she was honored and excited about her upcoming journey to find love.
Fans were thrilled with the producer’s choice.
“Good move selecting her,” wrote one.
Another said: “I was waiting for Joan! I loved this”.
The Golden Bachelorette is set to premiere this fall on ABC.
