AMERICAN Pickers is set to return in the fall on the History Channel, but a source exclusively told The US Sun that there is falsehood in the show and secrets that viewers may be shocked to learn.
American Pickers – starring Mike and Robbie Wolfe, Danielle Colby and Jon “Jersey Jon” Szalay – often films at Mike’s Antique Archeology stores in Iowa and Nashville, as collectibles found in the series are featured in the stores.
A source exclusively told The US Sun that when filming for the show takes place, the store’s doors are actually closed.
The source said of the Nashville location: “They film there, but definitely more at the Iowa store.
“Whenever they film, it’s early in the morning and it can be an hour or two before they open, a lot of times they open late.”
On the show, Danielle is often seen at the Iowa store as she gives Mike and his castmates their next pick location.

The source said: “She goes out less often than everyone else, but she still gets here. She’s a full-time selector now, so she’s always on the road.”
As for Mike, the source said he goes to the store “more often,” at least once to twice a month.
MORE COMPLAINTS
The US Sun previously reported from a separate source: “Danielle is usually only here to film. She’s now a waste picker and lives in Puerto Rico, so she goes back and forth just for that.”
Danielle currently lives in Puerto Rico and runs her burlesque business.
The source also previously stated that stores hide their Ancient Archeology merchandise during filming.
The source stated: “The Antique Archeology logo can’t be on the show because of the American Pickers. All goods come off the floor. The team has to pick everything up and put it back where it goes.”
PULLING OUT
The American Pickers team filmed new episodes in the spring while posting their travels on social media.
Mike revealed on Instagram in June when a fan asked when the show would return: “October, I think.”
The History Channel show is currently airing its 25th season and filming its 26th season.
The US Sun previously reported that the stars have been contracted for another three years.
“They are filming for season 26 and have signed on for another three years,” the show source said.
MOGUL IMOBILIÁRIO
When Mike isn’t filming or harvesting, he’s working to bring new life to the small town of Columbia, Tennessee.
He purchased several properties, including his Two Lanes vacation rental, the Columbia Motor Alley bike shop, a new restaurant and more to help bring business to the city, which is just 45 miles from Nashville.
The US Sun previously reported that the American Pickers star’s newest property is a $400,000 building he purchased in December 2023.
The property is 1,240 square feet and was built in 1920.
Mike Wolfe Business

Mike Wolfe has created a business empire with real estate, antique stores and more.
The US Sun previously reported that Mike was seen checking out the office building in November 2023 before making the purchase.
“The project is costing US$93 million. The city is happy that Mike is taking on this to help bring new life to Columbia,” a source told The US Sun.
Mike’s renewal of the city also brought new businesses outside of his ventures.
Prime & Pint – Butchery and Public House restaurant and butcher shop opened on March 30, while Build A Donut Bakery opened on June 15.
A source told The US Sun about new construction: “They are building a six-story condominium with a restaurant.
“The city is changing quickly. It’s a change that is welcomed by some citizens but rejected by others in the community.
“It’s interesting because a lot of people don’t want change and some do, so we’re in this flux,” said a city source.
