Bachelor in Paradise has revealed it will return to ABC in 2025 after shocking fans by halting production this year.

Season 9 of the reality show aired last fall, alongside the first season of The Golden Bachelor.

Bachelor in Paradise will return to ABC in 2025

The series has been renewed for a 10th season after a hiatus this year, ABC announced during the Disney Television Critics Association summer panel on Wednesday, per Deadline.

Although Season 9 of the series ran alongside The Golden Bachelor in the fall, previous seasons usually aired in the summer.

Many Bachelor in Paradise fans were disappointed with the delay of season 10, expressing their displeasure on X, formally Twitter.

One fan complained: “Wait, BIP is coming in 2025? [supposed] do it now?”

“No offense to Jenn, but ARE WE GOING TO BE A BACHELOR IN PARADISE OR NOT?! #TheBachelorette,” tweeted another.

A third disgruntled user -not single in paradise.”

“@ABCNetwork IM BEGGING for #BachelorInParadise,” tweeted a fourth.

ABC has made numerous changes to the Bachelor schedule as the franchise has expanded.

The Golden Bachelorette takes over for the fall, which will premiere on September 18 and will follow Joan Vassos on her search for love.
