Big Brother 26 revealed its 16 new houseguests on Monday, just days before its premiere date.

However, the casting announcement also came with a change that did not go unnoticed by the most attentive fans.

Paramount+ will not have flashbacks or archives available in the live online feeds.

The streaming service quietly announced the change on its website: “Starting this season, archives and flashbacks will no longer be available – but you can still watch all four cameras with our live feeds!”

Fans can still tune in to the much-loved live feeds to catch the Big Brother drama 24/7 – if you snooze, you miss out.

People can only watch the live stream as it airs and cannot rewind or save clips.

Fans are used to being able to fight back even if they haven’t seen something live, but now that won’t be an option and they are furious.

‘THERE IS NO MORE BIG BROTHER FOR ME’

“I would be VERY happy if someone told me I was reading this wrong… no more flashbacks?” a user X posted on Monday.

“No flashbacks are CRAZY,” wrote another as the Paramount+ warning circulated.

“So it’s not as bad as canceling feeds outright, but it’s second place…” wrote a third.

“It’s official that there’s no more BB for me,” wrote a fourth.

“What the fuck? How are we supposed to go back in time to watch it?? I have a job and a sleep schedule,” a fifth wrote.

“Seriously we all need to make a big fuss about this and tag @paramountplus and threaten to cancel our subscriptions,” wrote a sixth.

“@paramountplus would you consider reversing this,” pleaded another.

Another fan explained, “Archives of live feeds and flashbacks not only allow fans to catch up on the day’s events after work, but they also allow for clarification and clarity in sometimes unclear situations.”

Fans on Reddit were equally furious, as one person wrote in one thread: “Well this is incredibly horrible.”

‘PREDICTABLE CAST’

Meanwhile, Big Brother today revealed its cast and some surprising twists for its next season.

The 16 guests include a celebrity chef, a police officer and a professional crocheter.

However, it was also revealed that the cast will have the option to vote or not on the mystery, pre-determined for the first time by the 17th guest.

Additionally, “this new group of Houseguests will experience an unforgettable summer of jaw-dropping surprises as ‘BB AI’ takes control of the ‘Big Brother’ house,” ABC’s press release teases.

In other words, the cast will compete in an AI-themed season under the gaze of the “Chenbot” device.

Big Brother gave its first look at the cast on Instagram on Monday, alongside the official casting announcement.

Different cast members tossed various candies of their choice into a giant bowl.

In addition to the voting twist and the addition of AI, many fans criticized the cast in the comments, calling it “predictable.”

“Predictable cast. A thousand influencers and recruits and a boomer,” read one of the top comments.

“These guests seem boring,” said a second.

“Hello, I want the old big brother,” pleaded a third.
