Surreal Life fans were left confused after the show quietly underwent a major schedule change.
Last month, the cast for the second season of the hit reality show was revealed, premiering on July 23.

However, fans will be watching the show on an entirely new network.
Instead of its original VH1 channel, The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets will now air on MTV.
The new season will follow eight celebrities living together in a large villa in Colombia.
During their stay, the TV stars would be taken out of their comfort zones and take part in various missions where secrets about each contestant would be revealed.
When the celebrities – including Tyler Posey and Chet Hanks – were first announced, fans were excited for the upcoming season.
CHANGING THINGS
Meanwhile, others were confused about the drastic change in schedule.
“Wasn’t life surreal [on] VH1?” asked one commenter.
In response, another person stated: “They are all under the same company.”
Both MTV and VH1 are under Paramount.
More fans shared their excitement for the show’s return.
“I’ve literally been waiting for so long!” one fan wrote.
A second said: “I can’t wait!”
On July 15, MTV launched the first eight minutes of the first episode on Instagram to give viewers a taste of what’s to come.
