STEVE Harvey delivered a harsh verdict on the latest episode of his court show as fans rushed to the contestant’s defense.
The 67-year-old host returned as Judge Steve Harvey for Wednesday night’s episode of the courtroom comedy reality show.

The series follows the Family Feud host as he presides over real-life court cases before giving his neutral, third-party opinion on the matter.
O last episode included a dispute between rival exes, as well as the situation of a former employee seeking lost wages and a neighbor upset about his damaged mailbox.
Ultimately, it was the part concerning the ex-lovers that caused the most drama, with Steve coming down hard on a man who cheated on his much older girlfriend.
When it was claimed that 98% of everything the man told his girlfriend was a lie, the contestant responded that it was more or less 70%.

“Do you think this is good?” Steve fought back.
“You’re here saying that 70% of everything you said is a lie. What are the 30 for?” He continued. “You can’t be that stupid.”
It turned out that the defendant lied about his age, as Steve stated that his comment gave him away.
“You 32-year-old boy. If you were really 40, you wouldn’t have said that.”
However, some fans came to the contestant’s defense after a clip from the show was posted on Instagram.
“She should have been smart and known he wasn’t the right man for her,” one user offered their opinion on the matter.
“He’s a player,” they continued. “No money and [sic] 30 year age difference.”
Last month, Judge Steve Harvey viewers criticized their host for cosplaying another famous TV personality, Judge Judy, on the show.

Speaking to TV Insider, Steve discussed what he would bring to the series after years of hosting shows like Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud and The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
“I knew I had to be myself. Most judges are interested in the law: these are the facts and that’s it,” he said.
“I’m going to unearth the story behind why people show up in court versus why they’re in court.”
Steve added that he would channel “decades of experience dealing with all kinds of situations and people” while relying on his “street knowledge, common sense and humor to get it done” as a judge on the show.
Judge Steve Harvey returns next Wednesday (July 7).
