OVERALL Hospital fans trashed the series for eliminating a fan favorite and keeping a controversial soap star.
Viewers claim the producers made the wrong decision by demanding to get rid of the “control” option.
General Hospital fans said goodbye to Alison Rogers, aka Blaze and played by Jacqueline Grace Lopez, yesterday.
As Blaze went on tour and said goodbye to his ex-lover, Kristina, played by Kate Mansi, fans said the show chose the “wrong person” to leave.
Instead, viewers wish the show would get rid of Blaze’s mother, Natalia, played by Eva LaRue, while highlighting her character’s controversial personality.
“So you get rid of Blaze to leave control of Natalia behind? You got the wrong person, GH”, he commented on the program’s Instagram page.

“Blaze should have stayed and Natalia left,” wrote another.
“Blaze is gone (temporarily, I hope), there’s no reason for Natalia and her homophobic views to stick around,” said a third, referring to Natalia’s hate speech made earlier this season.
While fans have been outspoken about their stance on the soap’s current stars, many are hoping Blaze returns to Port Charles.
“I really hope Blaze comes back, Jacqueline Grace Lopez did an amazing job,” one fan wrote.
“I still hope Jacqueline Grace Lopez doesn’t leave General Hospital,” said another.
Some even threatened to stop watching the show, with one saying: “No, Blaze, no General Hospital for me. I only watch Jacqueline Grace Lopez’s show #BringBackBlaze.”
At this time, Jacqueline’s future on the show is unknown.
Jacqueline made her debut as Blaze in 2022 and left in April of the following year.
She returned in September to reprise her role in Port Charles.
TOTAL REFORMULATION
While fans are furious about Jacqueline’s departure, General Hospital said goodbye to a slew of fan favorites this month alone.
This week, the series also revealed that they were cutting ties with Bryan Craig, who played Morgan Corinthos.
Bryan only reprized his role as Morgan last week as his ghost.
