GENERAL Hospital star Haley Pullos was sentenced to 90 days in jail for causing a car accident while driving drunk in California.
After working for almost 15 years on one of the most popular soap operas in historyPullos will be forced to take a break to serve prison time.
The DUI charge stems from when she wrecked her car and injured another driver in a horrific car accident last spring.
Police found bottles of tequila in Pullos’ car and she pleaded no contest to driving under the influence and with a blood alcohol level (BAC) of 0.08, causing an accident with bodily injury, according to TMZ.
But the 25-year-old first tried to blame the other driver for the accident after he sued her for causing grievous bodily harm.
Pullos stated that although she had alcohol in her system at the time of the accident, she was not responsible.

Rescuers had to remove her from her mangled car using the jaws of life.
The injured driver, Courtney Wilder, “generally and specifically denied any and all allegations” made by Pullos.
He sued Pullos after suffering serious injuries, which led to him being hospitalized.
Wilder claimed the TV star yelled at first responders for touching his $400 shirt and attacked firefighters.
Any injuries suffered by Pullos were not disclosed.
She could have faced up to three years in prison on the charges, but her lawyers reportedly guaranteed her a favorable deal to reduce her sentence.
Pullos will be jailed for 90 days and then placed on probation for five years and will have to perform 200 hours of community service, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Rising and breaking
The star joined General Hospital in 2009 and has appeared in more than 500 episodes.
Originally from Palo Alto, California, she landed her big role on General Hospital at just 11 years old as Molly Lansing-Davis.
“Eleven years old?! I am absolutely the luckiest girl in the world,” Pullos captioned one throwback image of herself on Instagram.
“I still remember my first day on set with Lexi and Nancy – I was so nervous!! Thank you for letting General Hospital be my second home and thank you for letting me be Molly.”
The young soap star took a break from the show following the accident.
“Unfortunately, I was involved in a car accident and I’m fine, but I’m going to need a little time to recover,” she said. Soap opera summary last spring.

But she future instead, it took a different direction.
General Hospital recast the role of Molly just months after the accident, seemingly cementing her departure from the show.
And now, she’s already waiting in the Los Angeles County Jail to begin her 90-day jail sentence.
