Young and the Restless star Kate Linder revealed the crazy work she does on the weekends.
Kate is best known for her role as Esther Valentine on the iconic soap opera series.

In addition to getting into all the drama on The Young and the Restless, Kate, 76, also works as a flight attendant.
She revealed the People that she works for United Airlines and calls her side job “crazy and amazing.”
The TV personality told the outlet about an interaction he had with a fan.
“She looked at me and said, ‘Kate Linder?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ She said, ‘No, you’re not.’ I say, ‘I was when I woke up, so I don’t know [if] something is wrong.'”
Kate also said the fan had a long day of flying due to the bad weather.
They finally found an edge to their bad luck by meeting the iconic soap star.
‘YOU CAN NOT FORGET’
Due to her hectic work schedule, her flight attendant schedule is very flexible and she receives help from her co-workers.
The Hollywood actress loves taking flights to Denver, San Francisco and Hawaii.
Kate remembers when she first started working on an airplane.
“I became a flight attendant because I needed a job that would give me enough time off to pursue my career.
“And then I got hired. I was only hired for a day, so I kept going. And then I thought, ‘Well, if I can keep doing both, then I’ll do both.’
Kate said her two jobs are how she stays humble.
‘You can’t forget who you are like that. I’m telling you, one day I’ll be on set, I’ll be able to talk to you here at the Emmys, [and] so I’m serving coffee at 35,000 feet. I mean, you can’t forget.”
However, her favorite part of the job is meeting fans.

“I hear what they like and see in their eyes how happy they are. They can tell me about how they watch Young and the Restless.
“I think this is very good. I really like that,” she said.

Kate Linder was born on November 2, 1947, in Pasadena, California.
She was married to Ronald Linder from 1976 until his death in 2017.
Kate began acting on The Young and the Restless in 1982.
In 1985, she got a contract where she still plays Esther today.
She also made a guest appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful for five episodes in 2023.
