General Hospital shared a publish on his official account, stating: “General Hospital does not tolerate hatred or intolerance of any kind. Racism has no place in Porto Carlos. #GH is for everyone.”

The public statement came after Tabyana was forced to defend herself against racist online trolls.

Tabyana joined the television show in 2022, taking on the role of Trina Robinson after Trina’s original actress, Sydney Mikayla, left the show to go to college.

Earlier this month, Tabyana took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to make it clear that she has seen racial hate directed at her online.

“To anyone who hates me. That’s okay. I don’t know you and you don’t know me, but regardless, I’m sending you peace, security and prosperity…

‘I also pray that you touch some grass, see the sun, eat a delicious meal, and find something to do. Peace and love,” she wrote.

The actress returned to the platform a few hours later, according to the Daily Mailand asked his fans to get over the trolls.

“Okay, this is the last time I’m going to talk about this today, but we can’t feed people’s hatred.

“We can’t sink to the level of rude/racist people. It doesn’t help. We are already fighting too many wars. I believe we will have our world peace. But we need to find another way to fight,” she told her. followers on social media.

“I realized that ignoring doesn’t help, but it also doesn’t help energy to go back. We walk in circles and it doesn’t get us anywhere. Everyone may not agree with me, but that’s okay. I just want ‘those’ people to know I see you,” she added, addressing the trolls.

“And I’m sorry that this is the way you feel you need to be seen. I’m sorry that life isn’t going the way you want it to.

“But if you found something you liked to do other than hurt people. You would never have the energy to say what you’ve been saying to people ONLINE!”

The soap opera star concluded: “I promise that life is more beautiful, peaceful and full when you give LOVE to people and yourself.

“I pray you don’t meet God and be disappointed when he shows you the life you could have had if all you had to do was stop giving out that kind of energy and just leave!”

NEW GIRL IN TOWN

Some fans seem to feel that Tabyana’s character, Trina, hasn’t had a chance to shine since Sydney left the role.

“I loved working on General Hospital, but I feel like this is the right time to dive in and make the most of my college experience,” Sydney said of her choice to leave.

“The cast became family and bringing the character Trina to life was one of the best experiences of my career so far.”

On X, while fans praised General Hospital for speaking out, they also begged to see more Trina on screen.

Trina is Josslyn Jacks’ best friend, but fans want to see her in more solo stories.

“I had to watch Trina get sidelined once before. This is worse. They are purposefully going out of their way to make her an insignificant character. If #GeneralHospital thinks this is the way to get people to like Josslyn Jacks and make her popular. You better think again,” one person raged.

“Well, General Hospital needs to show Portia in scenes with her daughter, Trina. Trina needs to have her point of view and agency and not be Joss’s best friend and companion”, reflected a second.
