Fans of THE BOLD and the Beautiful made big demands on the show.
The popular soap opera has hinted that it may bring character Dr. Taylor Hayes back from retirement, but fans have firm conditions for her return.

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor was last played by Krista Allen, 53.
Krista took on the role after previous actress Hunter Tylo left the series in 2019.
Krista then took the reins in 2021 and left in November 2023, with Taylor absent from the show since then.
“This was the right decision for me,” said Krista SheKnows Soaps about her decision to leave the show and move to Atlanta, Georgia.
Krista also added that she thinks Taylor should be back on the show, telling the outlet, “Taylor is needed. There’s a huge fan base that wants to see her be there for her children and that wants to see this woman that they love. decades find happiness.”
The movie star noted how fans “spent years waiting for Taylor to return” after her departure and concluded, “I hope for their sake the show finds a way to continue her story!”
RETURNING?
Krista left the show after her character seemed to take a backseat.
Originally a main character, Taylor was demoted to a recurring role.
Krista then rejected an offer to return after a few months, with only a few lines in a few episodes being offered.
However, rumors have surfaced that The Bold and the Beautiful may be ready to recast the role, according to Soap Hub.
The outlet reported that the show was casting a role called “Sabrina,” but that she seemed eerily similar to Taylor in the character description.
FAN DEMANDS
On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans debated whether they would like to see Taylor return and, if so, whether Krista should return to the role.
Many agreed that Krista was amazing on the television show, but that she was let down by the writers and shouldn’t return unless she was given more robust storylines.

Taylor was a fully developed character, with a backstory and a lot of ties to the screen. Her character was never meant to be be a prop in someone’s story,” said a fourth social media user.
