GENERAL Hospital has released a new trailer for an upcoming episode.
In it, Michael Easton’s character Hamilton Finn is seen talking to his on-screen daughter, who appears visibly upset.
Michael announced he was leaving General Hospital earlier this week.
“You have to take me with you,” his daughter, Violet, can be seen saying.
Hamilton just looks at her silently.
Although the reason for his departure is not stated in the trailer, Soap opera summary revealed where Hamilton is headed.

The hardest decision for him may be leaving his daughter.
‘WE WILL MISS YOU!’
O clip was posted on the show’s YouTube page and fans criticized the decision to let Michael go.
“I hope they don’t recast Finn. Michael Easton played this role very well,” wrote one fan.
“Michael Easton… We will miss you! I hope this departure was your decision and not the GH team’s,” said another.
“I really hope they bring Michael Easton back at the end of his rehab,” added a third.
DRAMATIC EXIT
Michael announced his departure on Instagram on June 26.
He stood outside the studio where the show was filmed, in the dark, before delivering his message to fans.
“I always liked the Irish goodbye,” he said in his publish.
“That’s when you leave the party without telling anyone you left. But I thought you all deserved better. So I just want to let you know that I just finished filming my final scenes here on General Hospital.“

He then left the studio for the last time.
