Carlivati, whose departure is effective immediately, is being replaced by writers Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford, according to Deadline.

Its episodes, however, will continue to air until April 2025.

“We look forward to celebrating our 60th anniversary next year, with Paula and Jeanne Marie at the helm and new, exciting stories that we know fans will embrace,” executive producer Ken Corday wrote in a statement about Carlivati’s departure.

He continued, “We wish Ron nothing but the best and thank him for his dedication and the respect he has shown to me, the cast and the legacy of the show.”
