DAYS of Our Lives said goodbye to the show’s villain months after she announced her departure.

Arianne Zucker has played Nicole Walker since 1988 on the soap opera, and her last episode aired on July 29.

The actress shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram to her co-stars.

Arianne, 50, made a video montage of all the people she worked with on Days of Our Lives.

The videos were interspersed, many of them were of her and the cast members being silly on set.

The tribute was made with a cover of Elvis Presley’s song, Can’t Help Falling In Love.”

“I loved my job. I loved my friends. I loved my coworkers, but most of all I love you all. When someone says you are irreplaceable…maybe, but an individual’s heart is not,” she captioned it. publish.

“I gave my whole heart and always will. I never could have had this job unless I had all of you. From the bottom of my heart and beyond, I can’t thank you enough for loving, hating Nicole, and loving her again how she has changed in life with all of you.”

“Thank you for being part of my journey. This is an adventure that will live with me forever. Thank you for standing up for what is right,” Arianne continued.

“Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for recognizing what this industry so easily takes advantage of. I will always defend you. I love you.”

‘I HATE TO SEE YOU GO!’

Fans flooded Arianne’s comments section with well wishes for her.

Many of them said they understood her decision to leave, but didn’t want her to do so.

“We hate to see you go, but we are so proud of the choices you made! We will miss you so much and I hope the show feels the impact,” wrote one.

“After your last show, I will take a break that could be permanent. I’m 63 and I’ve been watching this show forever and I love it, but I can’t tolerate the way you were treated,” added a third.

“What an unnecessary loss for Days. You carried the show for decades, through all the writers who were playing against you,” said another.

DARK CLAIMS

In February, Arianne sued Days of Our Lives producers for sexual harassment on set.

She is suing Corday Production Inc. and executive producer Ken Corday in the lawsuit for discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination, according to Us weekly.

Arianne alleged that she and other women were harassed on set.

The actress said she suffered “sexually harassing comments” and “non-consensual physical touching of a sexual nature”.

She also stated that director Albert Alarr made the comments and Ken knew about them.

Court documents stated that Albert repeatedly subjected Arianne and her co-stars to harassment and discrimination based on their gender.

“Alarr, Corday and Ken Corday treated female employees disproportionately than male employees,” Arianne said.

“Hair and makeup employees and actresses were frequently reprimanded and given tasks that were purposely impossible to complete within the given time frame. Alarr used to shout at female employees, reducing them to tears.”

NEW DAY

For Arianne’s fans, they won’t have to wait long to see her on their screens again.

She announced earlier this month on Instagram that she will play The Madam in the upcoming film, Memec.

She also shared three photos of her costumed character, which featured a white lace kimono and circular hat.
