Although Christina Ricci did not reprise her previous Wednesday role during the first season, she did return to the franchise as a different character opposite Jenna.

“I know her [Christina] like Wednesday in my head, so it was intimidating”, the latter confessed to Variety.

“I think she is a fantastic actress. I’ve never been so strange.

“I felt like I didn’t know what to say to her. But she is so wonderful and talented that she made it so easy.”

Who won’t return in season 2?

Due to the deaths of both characters, Gwendoline Christine and Christina Ricci will not return for Wednesday’s second season.

Percy Hynes White and Naomi J. Ogawa also left the series.
