NICHOLAS Galitzine returned to Amazon Prime Video for another film following the success of The Idea of You.
He will star in the sequel to a highly popular film based on a best-selling novel.

Nicholas, 29, will reunite with Taylor Zakhar Perez in the Red, White and Royal Blue sequel.
Amazon announced the news on May 9 during a Q&A with the cast following a screening of the first film in Culver City, California, according to Variety.
“It’s official, a Red, White & Royal Blue sequel is in the works! #RWRBMovie,” the streaming platform captioned the publish.
The image featured a smashed cake with a flag of the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
There was also a number two candle lit between the flags.
The image had the words “Want another slice?” on the top.
The cake is a reference to the first film, when Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor) and Prince Henry (Nicholas) knocked over a cake during the wedding of Prince Phillip, Duke of Cambridge.
Taylor and Nicholas are set to reprise their roles.
Nicholas is no stranger to Amazon Prime Video, as his new film, The Idea of You, starring Anne Hathaway, is currently taking over the platform.
TAKE TWO
Red, White, and Royal Blue was turned into a 2023 romantic comedy after Casey McQuiston’s 2019 became a bestseller.
The film portrays a love affair between the son of the President of the United States and a British prince after they spend years hating each other.
Along with Taylor and Nicholas, Matthew Lopez, who co-wrote and directed the first film, will return for the sequel as well as produce it.
He will work with Casey on the script, who has yet to write a second book and serves as executive producer.
Variety said no plot details have been announced yet for the sequel.

Amazon has not announced whether the sequel will be released in theaters or released on the streaming service.
Only Taylor and Nicholas were announced to return from the cast.
The film also starred Uma Thurman as President Ellen Claremont – Alex’s mother, Clifton Collins Jr. as Senator Oscar Diaz – Alex’s father, Sarah Shahi as Zahra – President Claremont’s deputy chief of staff, Rachel Hilson as Nora – Alex’s best friend, and Stephen Fry as King James III – Henry’s grandfather.
Red, White and Royal Blue debuted at the top of Amazon Prime Video’s top 10 movies list and went viral on social media after being released on the streamer in August 2023.
The film generated a huge increase in Prime Video subscribers, according to a spokesperson, Deadline reported.

‘WE WON!’
Fans were very excited about the news of a sequel.
They commented on Amazon’s X announcement, formerly Twitter.
“YES WE WON,” wrote one fan.
“WE WON,” said another.
“OMG I can’t believe this. Best news. I hope all the actors come back,” a third added.
Others begged for the film to be released in theaters.
“This movie is my guilty pleasure. Thank you Amazon,” said another.
THIRD MOVIE?
After the cast announced the sequel in a recent Q&A, the star teased that the popular film could even get a third installment.
“It could be a trilogy,” said Taylor, 32, Forbes via Zoom before the screening.
“I mean, could you imagine having the first queer trilogy for young people to log in and see themselves on TV?”
Taylor said she would love for Red, White and Royal Blue to be a staple on Amazon and for it to be people’s happy place.
“This is a learning moment, but I’m also going to laugh a lot,” he continued.
