AMAZON Freevee has canceled one of its original comedies after one season.
Coming-of-age comedy Primo will not return for a second season, creator Shea Serrano revealed Tuesday in announcing the cancellation.
“A short but beautiful season – unfortunately we won’t be doing any more episodes of PRIMO,” Shea revealed on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
“I will always be indebted to everyone who worked on the show to make it so great, and I will always be grateful to everyone who watched and championed it,” he added.
“Thank you truly – long live PRIMO,” concluded Shea.
Primo producers Universal Television are looking for a new home for the series, sources say The Hollywood Reporter.
