On Wednesday, the multibillion-dollar company announced a sequel film that will be based on the first book in author Mercedes Ron’s Culpables trilogy.

My Fault: London has reportedly completed production in the UK and will star Asha Banks and Matthew Broome as Noah and Nick.

The film will follow Noah and his mother, Ella, moving from America to London to live with Ella’s new love, William, and her bad boy son, Nick.

As Noah adapts to her new life in a new country, she and Nick begin to form a relationship with each other, which becomes complicated as they would bond when their parents get married.

However, things take a dramatic turn when Noah’s estranged father, who has been released from prison, desperately needs to find her.

The Culpables series became popular on the fanfiction website Wattpad.

“We are delighted to invest in the rising talents of Asha Banks and Matthew Broome as Nick and Noah, bringing this world-renowned story to life through a British lens,” said Amazon MGM Studios Vice President of International Originals James Farrell . he said.

However, fans weren’t so happy.

WHAT THE FANS THINK

Once the news was made public and shared on Prime Video’s X account, formerly Twitter, where they shared their honest opinions.

“The world of Culpa Mia just got a little bigger – get ready for My Fault: London, starring Asha Banks and Matthew Broome as Noah and Nick. Stay tuned for more,” they wrote while adding a photo of the two actors.

“This is how you destroy the masterpiece… being greedy is never good enough,” wrote a second.
