AARON Carter’s ex Melanie Martin – who has a son with the late pop star – is supporting Backstreet Boy’s Nick amid rape allegations and will appear in an upcoming documentary.

The show will tell the story of the brother’s rise to fame, Aaron’s death after a long battle with substance abuse and the sexual assault allegations against Nick.

Alleged victims Melissa Schuman, Ashley Repp and Shannon “Shay” Ruth appear in the documentary and are suing the pop star.

Nick has repeatedly denied the allegations in statements and responded to the lawsuits with counterclaims against each woman questioning their credibility.

The series’ dramatic promo shows how Aaron feuded with his brother as he supported women, and even previously tweeted: “I smell a serial rapist.”

But a podcast interview he gave just weeks before his death reveals that he apologized to his brother and no longer believed the claims.

His ex Melanie is interviewed later in the documentary and is also supportive of Nick, 44, US Sun can exclusively reveal.

A source said: “Melanie appears in the third and fourth episodes of the documentary about Aaron and his brother Nick, along with their son Prince, Aaron’s only child.

AARON’S APOLOGY

“She signed an NDA but publicly shared Aaron’s apology to Nick before the show aired and is on his side.”

Aaron appeared on the “No Jumper” podcast, which was published on YouTube on November 2, 2022, just days before he was found dead in his bathtub on November 5.

He drowned after taking alprazolam and inhaling compressed difluoroethane, a propellant used in compressed air canisters, according to the Los Angeles County coroner.

“I tried to play God and defend Nick’s alleged rape victims, okay, and to my brother, I would like to apologize and say I love you, I’m sorry,” he said on the podcast.

“I shouldn’t have done that and I was there with you when it first happened in Tennessee and you got herpes on your back.”

The presenter then interrupted and asked: “Do you think those stories weren’t true?”

Aaron responds, “I don’t, I don’t think they were true, I rejected them completely.”

He then bizarrely called himself “The Joker”, claiming that he had previously befriended Melissa and no longer believed her story.

Melanie shared the clip on TikTok writing, “Enough, Aaron’s final words. You were so complicated and sometimes I felt so desperate to be with you, but I stuck by you through thick and thin, no matter what. (sic).”

But the accusations against Nick won’t go away, as each woman will speak about their individual experience with him on the series.

SHOCKING COMPLAINTS

Nick has never been charged with any crime and there are no open investigations.

Shuman reportedly remembers on screen how she was allegedly raped in 2003 and later received a text from Nick that read: “Why did you make me do this?”

According to the New York Post Officeshe says in the documentary: “That text message scared me. I confided in my manager about going to the police and reporting the crime. He told me, ‘[Nick] has the most powerful litigator in the country.'”

Her previous manager denies in an on-screen statement that she told him about the alleged rape.

Meanwhile, Repp claims she was 15 and Nick was 23 when she was drugged and raped by the star in 2003.

The third alleged victim, Ruth, claimed that her assault happened on a tour bus when she was 17 years old, in 2001, when she was still a virgin.

She claims she contracted HPV and is suing for sexual assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

“Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter” premieres on Monday, May 27th and Tuesday, May 28th, from 9pm to 11pm on ID and streaming on Max.
