NETFLIX confirmed the return of an acclaimed comedy series, to the delight of fans.
The Vince Staples show debuted on the global streaming platform in February and has been a hit ever since.
The fictional series is set in Long Beach, California, and is loosely based on Vince’s own life.
Ahead of the upcoming return, Vince Staples, 30, was excited about the series and how excited he is about its return to the airwaves.
Vince exclaimed: “The people have spoken and Netflix’s most fascinating, captivating and polarizing show is returning for season two.
“Get ready for mischief only a mother can love. Thank you, Netflix!”
“There are 365 days in a year, so we can have 365 episodes of this because they are all based on what it’s like to exist day to day,” Staples added.
“Next For Vince it’s literally anything because anything can happen at any moment, that’s how life works.”
The series synopsis reads: “Who is Vince Staples? Well, that’s a complicated question.
“He’s kind of famous, but he’s not. He’s kind of rich, but he’s not. He’s also kind of a criminal. But he’s… no?”
“Follow him on his daily adventures, where everything that can go wrong usually does.”
He created the show alongside Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams, where he also serves as one of the executive producers.
As well as starring in the show as a fictionalized version of himself in the first five-episode series.
Recurring stars who have appeared on the show include the likes of Vanessa Bell Calloway and Andrea Ellsworth.
Other stars who had guest roles on the show included the likes of Rick Ross, Naté Jones and Bryan Greenberg.
