The Umbrella Academy has released its new trailer for its fourth and final season.
The next season of The Umbrella Academy, which will consist of six episodes, will air on Netflix on August 8.
The clip shows new characters, played by Nick Offerman, 54, and Megan Mullally, 65, solving mysteries and seemingly tying up loose ends for viewers.
“That tentacle boy is the key to understanding all the timelines,” says Nick’s character.
The actors, who are married in real life, play husband and wife duo Dr. Gene Thibedeau and Dr. Thibedeau.
Both Nick and Megan look unrecognizable in the new trailer, with the Parks and Recreation actor sporting long gray sideburns.

At X, fans have been reacting to the actors’ special appearances in the new season.
“What if I tell you I’m crying on the floor????” one person tweeted.
“NICK OFFERMAN?! OH YES, THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST SEASON BY FAR!” a second exclaimed.
“It was a mistake to watch this before work. I’m going to be screaming and crying all day,” wrote a third.
“I can’t wait to see how it all turns out! Counting down the days!” another said.
The Netflix action drama is based on the comic book series of the same title by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba.
The third season was released just over two years ago, leaving fans excited for what’s to come after a long hiatus.
After Season 4 was greenlit by the network, showrunner Steve Blackman hinted at what viewers could expect from the final episodes.
“I think inevitably if we have a Season 4, we will be heading towards the endgame,” he said The wrap.
“I think at one point I wasn’t sure where we would go after Season 4. We have to be careful. My plan for next year is to not continually tread the same ground we were on before.
“It’s a challenge to find a new way to subvert this story and I think we have an idea of how to do that,” he continued.
“But I think if we got to Season 4, it would be a great ending to the show. I’m not saying I couldn’t do more, but you know, I think it would be very satisfying for the audience. , four Seasons.”
