HENRY Cavill has been booted from his Netflix starring role in a shock move.
Netflix has announced that the actor will not star in the final two seasons of the fan-favorite fantasy series.

The Witcher will end after season 5, giving fans two more seasons to watch their favorite show.
Netflix announced the news on April 18.
But the show has given fans a little hope – they’ve already started production on season 4.
Season 5 will be back-to-back with Season 4, and both will primarily follow Andrzej Sapkowski’s last three books – Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow and Lady of the Lake.

However, those hoping to see Henry, 40, return as Geralt of Rivia may be disappointed.
He is being replaced by Liam Hemsworth in the lead role.
“We are incredibly proud to begin filming our penultimate season of The Witcher with a stellar cast, including some exciting new additions, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia,” creator and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich told the streamer.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring Andrzej Sapkowski’s books to an epic and satisfying conclusion. It wouldn’t be our show if we didn’t push our family of characters to their absolute limits – stay tuned to see how the story ends.”
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM SEASON 4
Season 4 will begin with Geralt, Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra) and Princess Ciri (Freya Allan).
They split up after what happened in season 3 and are leading their own groups of misfits.
During this time, the three leaders reunite and then try to find their way back to each other.
The show explores the legend of these three characters on a landmass known as The Continent.
Geralt is a hired mutant monster hunter.
Season 4 will also have some new characters.

The Matrix’s Laurence Fishburne will join The Witcher as Regis, a world-renowned barber-surgeon with a mysterious past.
Shartlo Copey will play bounty hunter Leo Bonhart, while James Purfoy will take on the role of Skellen, Emhyr’s judicial advisor and spy.
Danny Woodburn will play Zoltan, a dwarf from the books and video games.
LEAVING MY SWORD
Henrique announced his departure from The Witcher in October 2022.
“Some news from Continente to share…” he began his Instagram post.
“My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been full of monsters and adventures and, unfortunately, I will be handing over my medallion and swords for Season 4.”
“In my place, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will take on the mantle of the White Wolf,” Henry announced.

Writing this as a huge fan of The Witcher, he was “elated at the opportunity to play Geralt”.
He praised Henry and said he was amazing in the role and is honored to have let Liam take the reins.

Although Henry didn’t mention why he was leaving at the time, he can now focus on being a father.
He revealed earlier this week that his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, is pregnant with their first child.
