JENNIFER Lopez stole the show at Monday night’s Met Gala, where she blazed a trail as one of this year’s co-chairs.
And while most people certainly won’t be able to copy her designer dress, her exact hairstyle is totally affordable.
This year’s event celebrated the Costume Institute’s new exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
The dress code for the night was “The Garden of Time,” and JLo, 54, wore a stunning custom Schiaparelli couture gown.
Designed by Daniel Roseberry, the incredibly elegant number featured more than 2,500,000 silver bugles and beads, according to WWD.
It was hand-embroidered with silver pearls and rhinestones and took over 800 hours to make.

And that was exactly how long it took to make the dress.
Naturally, JLo herself took a little longer to get ready for the big day and turned to hairstylist Lorenzo Martin to give her a red carpet-worthy hairstyle.
Contrasting with such a glamorous dress, Martin took an unusual route and gave the singer a classic messy bun.
“Only Jennifer Lopez could wear a messy bun at the Met Gala,” Fascination gushed.
While Martin’s fee for making a headdress is probably quite high, the products he used are affordable — and he shared everything in his arsenal.
Martin revealed his step-by-step process for recreating the look at home using a variety of Tresemme products and Tangle Teezer tools.
Each of the Tresemme products he used is available for $6.99 at Target, while the two brushes are $16.99 and $13.99 each at Ulta.
With her dress and hair in place, JLo finished her look with peep-toe platform sandals, a light gold clutch and diamond jewelry.
According to Allure, she turned to nail artist Tom Bachik for her manicure.

“I created a shade to enhance her skin tone by adding a little Shellac Top Coat to Flowerbed Folly, softening it to a semi-sheer color.”
He finished with CND’s Pearl Obsession and a little Aquaphor on his cuticles.
Lala Bronstein predicted JLo’s surprising look ahead of the gala on Monday.
“She will look sophisticated yet sexy wearing a sparkly or sparkly floor-length silhouette dress,” she told The US Sun.
“Her appearance at the Met Gala will undoubtedly be another memorable one. She will probably have sexual siren status.
“JLo continues to choose elegant, sophisticated styles that fully embrace her iconic fashion status.
“Whatever she chooses for the Met Gala will be very different from her Jenny From The Block days.”
