KATY Perry has been focusing her final days on American Idol on her style and future rather than rooting for the show’s talent, a stylist says.
She claimed the pop star suddenly upped her clothing choices to maximize impact and self-promote before stepping out in just a few weeks.

Katy, 39, shared a photo on Instagram on Tuesday wearing two unique black leather pieces.
Her butterfly-style leather top showed off her cleavage, bare shoulders and stomach.
Katy wore a series of revealing outfits until April.
“I love you Katy but you really should dress more modestly considering this is family TV,” one follower commented.

“Hey Katy, did you burn a nipple last night in that dress? Luke Bryan made a facial expression that would lead me to believe he also saw the defect,” wrote another.
Stylist Tavia Sharp said Katy was being “controlling” and behaving like a “rebel.”
The Roar hitmaker has been a fixture on American Idol since 2017 and season 16.
She worked with Luke Ryan and Lionel Richie on season 22, but will end after the three-hour finale on May 19.
Katy’s next album could be released this year.
“Katy is being rebellious,” Sharp told The US Sun.
“She has tried to show that she has more control over the program than the other judges.
“She brought in dominatrix looks specifically before her exit.
“That means she’s looking for bigger things and self-promotion.
“It’s a control mechanism, but it’s reckless because Idol still pays Katy.”
Katy brought a blue cutout dress from Coperni to the April 21st show.
She shared a photo on Instagram when she posed and stuck out her ass.
“Make sure impressionable, cheeky young people are watching. What’s the point of exposing your rear? asked a follower.
THIGH FROM HEAVEN
Sharp said the dress showed too much skin and claimed it would make the judging panel “uncomfortable.”
“The other judges alongside her have seen a lot of Katy’s skin,” she said.
“Lionel and Luke usually dress normally, but Katy’s clothes can make them uncomfortable.
She would have half of her buttocks sticking out when she sat behind the desk.

Katy announced she was leaving the Valentine’s Day reality show on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“I love the show so much, but I want to go and see the world and maybe bring new music,” she said.
At that time, stylist Amanda Sanders stated that Katy started the series looking “sloppy.”
“Katy is the way they want her to be before she leaves and it’s a little more than what the producers want,” Sanders told The US Sun.
Now, it appears the mother of one has started to stand her ground.
ON ATTACK
Sharp claimed that Katy had taken back control of her wardrobe.
During the April 19th show, Katy’s metal top broke and attracted a lot of attention.
“That song…um…broke my shirt…I guess it’s a girl’s world!” Katy shouted to Luke and Lionel, who looked stunned.
Sharp noticed that Katy had brought the metal outfit during the last three shows.

Katy teamed up with stylist Tatiana Waterford in 2020.
“She’s had so many major fashion moments, and sometimes it seems hard to top them,” Waterford said. Vogue Australia in 2023.
“I constantly have to push myself to dig deeper into references and think of new places we can go together.”
Katy was also styled by Waterford in 2021 for the US presidential inauguration celebrations.

Sharp said Katy’s fashion moments were a “distraction” at the show.
“Katy’s styles detract from the participant’s special moments,” she explained.
“Idol’s exit wardrobe choices could indicate Katy’s insecurity.
“These are the participant’s moments.
“They are trying to start their careers as singers.

“When Katy wore the leather butterfly two-piece, everyone was probably focused on her cleavage.
“Katy is also adapting to her new endeavors and using the Idol set as a fashion runway.
“Out of courtesy, she needs to remove everything.
