SHANIA Twain’s drastic face change has continued to confuse her fans and followers in the lead-up to her big comeback in Las Vegas.

A plastic surgeon has claimed the country star has been picking at her skin for a decade, amid denials that she has ever gone under the knife.

Shania, 58, has been sharing images on Instagram of her performance at her Sin City residence.

At Saturday’s opening show, Up! hitmaker looked young. She also wore cowboy hats and fishnets.

“I loved seeing so many familiar faces in the crowd!!” Shania captioned one Instagram post shared on Monday.

But fans were surprised by his appearance.

“I honestly wouldn’t know it was her,” commented one.

“Who is that? I thought you were Shania Twain. You don’t look anything like that – that’s a shame,” asked another.

New York Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Richard Westreich claimed the singing sensation has “dabbled” in cosmetic treatments for years.

He said her hairstyles made it difficult to see if there were “incisions from a facelift.”

The You’ve Got a Way singer has been back on stage since May 1st.

Shania’s Come on Over show features a 21-song set list and four costume changes. It runs until December.

“Shania’s face and skin started to look very, very different in 2023,” Westreich told The US Sun.

“But over the years, there has been increase and variability.

Shania Twain, 58, shows off her new hair color for American Idol appearance as fans say ‘I had no idea who it was!’

“In 2013, Shania obviously started getting Botox, which became her gateway drug.

“She was also interested in fillers and other things, maybe including yarn.

“In the last decade, she could have spent up to $78,000 on her face.”

The mother-of-one has been showing off a lot of new hairstyles lately.

During her appearance as a mentor on American Idol in April, Shania opted for blonde hair in a bob.

She turned it pink for a magazine cover photo shoot.

The country singer sported brunette hair at the Forbes 30/50 Summit International Women’s Day awards gala in March.

Shania is everywhere in every photo over the years with bumps and hairstyles.

Shania said High Life that dyeing my hair after discovering gray tones “makes me feel younger.”

“I don’t need to look younger. It’s not a goal of mine, but I like to feel refreshed, and pink hair does that.

TO COVER

Oestereich suggested that long hair can help cover up signs of plastic surgery.

“Shainia always wears her hair down,” he said.

“This makes it difficult for us to see around the ears and whether there are any incisions caused by a facelift.

“Shania could have done something this year.

“A facelift would have been a relatively recent phenomenon for her.

“Your face looks smoother and your jaw looks tighter.

“Shania is everywhere in every photo over the years with bumps and hairstyles.”

Shania spoke exclusively to The Sun ahead of her third Las Vegas residency.

She said her youthful appearance is due to diet and exercise. Shania also denied having changed any sagging skin “superficially”.

“Every month or day that I notice another flab or another patch of cellulite, I want to know if it’s there,” she said.

“I want to be okay with it, instead of thinking about whether I have to cover it up or not look. I can’t change that and I don’t intend to change it superficially,” she added.

All of these procedures can affect – or mimic – the appearance that a face or neck lift would give.

In January, during an interview with Hoda Kotb on The Today Show, Shania said she loved being “in her own skin.”

“Maybe that was part of what led me to think, ‘OK, it’s time to start loving yourself in your own skin,’” she said.

The singer posed topless in 2022 to prove how comfortable she felt with her body.

“This is me expressing my truth,” she confirmed.

“I’m comfortable in my own skin and this is how I’m sharing that confidence,” Shania said at the time.

IMITATE ME

Westreich said Shania could have denied cosmetic work because she considered treatments like Botox non-surgical.

“Shania might deny that she had any work done,” he said

“Botox, fillers and threads are non-surgical procedures.

“Ultimately, all of these procedures can affect – or mimic – the appearance that a face or neck lift would give.

She’s just been doing things to avoid all the sagging.

“Shania has probably had a lot of non-surgical procedures.

“It looks different every two months, which also doesn’t lend itself to any surgical procedure.

“Sometimes it doesn’t look surgically altered, but other times it looks swollen or even a little strange.”

Shania seems to have found a balance in her personal life. In 2023, she experienced two health scares.

In January 2023, she underwent throat surgery to save her voice.

The Grammy winner fell in love with her longtime friend Frédéric Thiébaud in 2010.

She remarried in 2011 after separating from her husband, Mutt Lange.

The Canadian star met the Swiss businessman in the 90s.

DOG LIFE

Westreich said the hit The Woman in Me singer didn’t go overboard with her treatments.

“Overall, Shania is not exaggerating,” Westreich added.

“The photo she posted with her dog shows that her skin looks beautiful.

It’s going in the right direction and she hasn’t fallen off the cliff yet.

“Here, it doesn’t seem like she did much for it.

“But a week later, your skin and face look different again.

“There is a tightening of the jaw and a variation of swelling again.

“Shania didn’t have a lip job or rhinoplasty.

“His upper eyelids have always been a little heavier.

“She has done things to avoid all the sagging.

“It’s going in the right direction and she hasn’t fallen off the cliff yet.”
