LOVE AND LOTIONS

Their romance may have happened on the MTV reality show The Hills, but Heidi and Spencer are determined to maintain their skincare routines so they don’t look up anytime soon.

You might think that Heidi, who underwent ten surgeries in 2010 at just 23, would be the one imparting her beauty wisdom to Spencer, but it’s quite the opposite.

“I actually copy Spencer’s skincare routine,” Heidi, 37, told The US Sun.

“When I met him, he had – and has – the best skin of anyone I’ve met,” she continued.

The mother-of-two has spoken publicly about her “regrets” about undergoing so many body-altering procedures – including eyebrow lifts, chin reductions and breast augmentations.

But she would never go back to her normal routine after shining at skincare.

At least when it comes to your flawless appearance, there is no need for surgery.

“He’s really regimented about his skin care and cleansing,” she said of Spencer. 40.

She decided to take a page from her perfect-skin playbook and has been delivering the latest for the cameras ever since.

“We actually use the same products,” she said.

GETTING REAL ABOUT YOUR ROUTINE

“I love Avene,” said Heidi.

“I use all of their products — I use the foaming cleanser and the lotions.”

Spencer disclosed that she first discovered the brand because of her “sensitive skin.”

Now they “use the same thing,” he confirmed to The US Sun.

She would hold her chin and I would say, ‘You can’t sit there touching your face if you don’t wash your hands first.

The French skincare brand uses Avene thermal spring water in its products to soothe and soothe the skin.

Their line includes items for the face, lips and eyes with anti-aging benefits, and can also be used on skin prone to acne or eczema.

Heidi’s favorite Avene Foaming Cleanser retails for $22 and is described as ideal for those with normal to combination skin.

The lightweight product that claims to safely remove makeup and pollution particles can be used morning and night.

The Antirougeur Clean Soothing Cleansing Lotion, which costs $38, has a “velvety” texture and claims to nourish the skin to prevent moisture loss.

It can also be used to minimize any feelings of tightness or redness.

Spencer said Heidi often touched his face when they first met, a habit he got her to give up.

TALK TO THE HAND

Spencer also helped Heidi keep her hands away — or at least away from her face.

“The most basic thing is don’t touch your face,” he said.

“This was a habit when I met Heidi – she was like a statue touching her face and having meltdowns,” he added.

“She would hold her chin and I would say, ‘You can’t just sit there touching your face if you don’t wash your hands first,’” he said.

Spencer also attributes her clear skin to eating healthy, exercising, using sunscreen and staying hydrated.

Now that Heidi has copied her husband’s beauty regimen, it’s only right that he follows her lead in getting slimmer abs by becoming the newest face of Hydroxycut.

After Heidi lost 50 pounds by taking the supplements, Spencer now hopes to have her own summer-ready beach body.
