THE first few years of motherhood often involve sleepless nights, endless dirty diapers, and strange tantrums.

According to a body language expert, the same is not true of Paris Hilton, whose mother and baby Instagram posts show contrasting gestures to those she has seen “adoring” her dogs.

All the while, Paris’s children sat calmly on her lap or beside her.

“It always seems like she doesn’t want skin-to-skin contact. The photos are uncomfortable,” commented one fan.

“Make sure the kids match your shirt,” added another.

Body language expert Judi James said it was telling that Paris refrained from “clutching” her children to her body like other mothers.

“No one would expect anything different from Paris Hilton than these poses,” James told The US Sun.

“There would be no baggy training pants or disease-stained vests.

“Everyone follows the brand in terms of what they wear and how they sit.

“Paris’s hands look limp as she holds her children on her lap and not close to her face.

She offers no watchful looks or expressions of anxiety, stress, or exhaustion.

“This is more than demonstrating any need to hold them in place, which is often the case with familiar poses.

“Paris is trying to convey that being a mother does not require a change in style or body language behavior.

“She offers no watchful glances or expressions of anxiety, stress or exhaustion.”

James stated that Paris’s gestures toward her “surrogate babies” differed from those of London and Pheonix.

“With her babies, Paris has moved away from her younger poses and the ones she used to do with her dogs,” she said.

“By using the dogs as accessories of love, she shows a much less self-centered approach to her new babies.

“In the past, Paris has made constant appearances with her surrogate babies.

“This allowed her to pose for the cameras in a way that showcased the dogs as fashion accessories.

“She would show her adoring poses and hold them very close to her face.

“Paris gave kisses to the dogs to make her feel better.

“With the babies, she signals that she is putting the babies here first, with her eyes on them.

“She also tells the world that she is enchanted with them by her constant smile as she looks at them.”

The former It Girl’s journey to motherhood probably wasn’t so simple — or stress-free.

After marrying VC and writer Carter Reum, 43, Paris confessed she felt emotional about expanding her family.

“I’m so excited that one day I’ll have a little girl named London, and she’ll have her big brother, Phoenix, to take care of her,” she said. Vogue in 2023.

“I’ve been planning this for a long time. I just had to find the right partner to do it with. It’s so hard to trust people and I’m so grateful I found my husband.”

In her new book, Paris: The Memoir, the mother of two described her surrogacy journey.

She revealed that she wore a prosthetic.

“I wanted to know what it was like to be pregnant, so I bought a prosthetic stomach and wore it at home during the day. I know it sounds crazy, but I wanted it to feel real — even if it was so small,” she wrote.

HIGH BAR

James stated that, as always, Paris was setting high standards for herself in her new role.

“Like everything Paris does, she has set a high bar in her motherhood journey,” she said.

“But it’s just about what it’s like to be a mom to two young, active kids.

James isolated his “floating” technique as a key to his growing maturity.

“There is something overly idyllic and ethereal about Paris posing with the children,” she said.

“Paris uses this ‘floating’ technique and wears dresses that would never work with two small, lively children.

“For all the sophisticated style and style, there is an undercurrent of maturity in their babies.

“Her eyes barely meet the camera, which is a significant step forward for a woman whose love affair with the lens has been faithful and long-lasting.

“When she looks toward the camera, her eyes are hidden by shadows.

“This suggests a desire to hide the true depth of their emotional responses.”

MOTHER AND ME

James stated that Paris seemed to protect her children all the time.

“As she walks carrying her son, there is a very strong signal of substance over style coming from Paris,” James added.

“Although she seems happy to be filmed, as she approaches the camera, her instinct appears to be protective.

“In one image, she pulls one side of her kaftan over her son’s legs.”

She is already noticing how her baby is so pale and jokes about her getting a tan.

According to James, when Paris commented about regretting the spray tan, it was about wanting to match her son.

“Paris speaks directly to her daughter here, which is kind,” she said.

“There seems to be a sort of ‘waste from the old block’ connection growing here.

“She is already noticing how her baby is so pale and jokes about her getting a tan too.

“This suggests the expectation of ‘mother and daughter’ correspondence.

“Some celebrity moms love to dress their daughters in matching outfits to look cute.

“This works for Paris because nothing harms its brand.”
