FATHER’S Day is coming up on June 16th – and no one will be busier than Nick Cannon.

The 43-year-old has 11 children with six different women and plans to “connect” with them all on his special day.

Nick Cannon says he plans to spend time with all 11 of his kids on Father's Day

Despite his efforts, a parenting expert is concerned that Nick’s “narcissistic” behavior could negatively impact children as they grow up.

Nick had his first two children, Moroccan and Monroe, with Mariah Carey while they got married in 2011.

After splitting in 2014, he welcomed son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell in 2017 and 2020, respectively.

Then the overlaps began. He had twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with DJ Abby De La Rosa in June 2021.

That same year, he and Alyssa Scott had a son named Zen, who died of brain cancer at five months old.

In 2022, he and model Bre Tiesi welcomed son Legendary, who was followed months later by daughter Onyx Ice with model LaNisha Cole.

He had three more babies that same year: Rise Messiah with Brittany, Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby, and Halo Marie with Alyssa.

And Nick said he plans to spend time with all of them on Sunday.

“It was supposed to be a day where I could rest, but I want to give all my kids the opportunity to connect and give me gifts and all that kind of stuff,” he said. People.

“It’s a fun day and I appreciate all the love I get that day.”

But according to Kirsty Ketleyhis stance as father of the year is not very convincing.

Kirsty shared her opinion with The US Sun…

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and it’s not uncommon for children to have half-siblings or half-siblings.

However, while this is a perfectly normal setup for many, Nick has really pushed the boundaries of what the “norm” is.

His story seems like something out of a soap opera, but this is the reality that Nick and his large brood, as well as ex-partners, are living.

Having 11 children to support is not a problem for a big celebrity like Nick, from a financial point of view.

But being able to emotionally support all of his children is something he himself admitted is a big challenge, as he revealed in an episode of The Checkup with Dr. Agus in December 2022.

He essentially wants to give his kids a ‘meet and greet’ with him.

“Being a father of several children, the biggest guilt for me is always not being able to spend enough time with all my children, one because I’m working constantly and two because I’m just scattered,” he said.

All parents can relate to parental guilt, especially guilt over not spending enough time with their children.

The juggling act is real for many families, but before we pick up the violins and start feeling sorry for Nick, let’s not stray from Father’s Day and his comments about how he plans to spend the day.

Congratulations to him on seeing his children – all of them? Who can be sure?

But while reminding his followers to take a day of rest, he also stated that he “wanted to give all my kids the opportunity to connect and give me gifts and all that kind of stuff.”

That’s right, he basically wants to give his kids a “meet and greet” with him.

He expects them to adorn him with homemade gifts and cards and be forced to stroke his ego like the best dad in the world.

Combine all the media and online scrutiny and they can become extremely embarrassed by their father as they grow up.

Trying to appease your feelings of guilt or trying to have a proper relationship with each of your children?

It’s a little narcissistic when you read his quotes about being a father – it’s all about him and how he feels, what suits him. Only in Hollywood!

Let us not forget that in the middle of this circus are his 11 children, who cannot go through life unscathed by their father’s actions.

It’s entirely possible that Cannon’s older children, who he shares with Mariah Carey, are perhaps finding things more difficult considering they spent time living with their father as a family unit.

Now, not only are they having to deal with their parents’ separation, but they also have to think about sharing their father with nine other children.

This means they may resent their half-siblings and their father.

Combine all the media and online scrutiny and they can become extremely embarrassed by their father as they grow up.

Having half-siblings can be difficult for children to accept, as it often confirms that their parents are definitely not getting back together and changes the family dynamic.

This can make children feel insecure in their relationships with their parents and insecure about their place and importance to them.

For Moroccan and Monroe, this means they may not want to spend Father’s Day “connecting” with their siblings, or even spending any time with them.

The nine children who arrived after Nick and Mariah’s divorce may see things a little differently, as they have eight other siblings and half-siblings in the same boat.

For them, they don’t know any different, so the family setup is pretty normal, but as they get older, that can change.

Growing up and understanding their situation better, children may again feel embarrassed by their father and this can impact their relationships as the father’s reputation can make people want to stay away from them.

Nick admitted on The Jason Lee Podcast last year that he spends most of his time with Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, his daughter with model LaNisha Cole.

He said he sees her as much as LaNisha, at least three times a week, even though he has a daycare attached to his office.

Whether or not that’s the case, it means the other eight children missed out on just as much time with their father.

Knowing that their half-sibling spends more time with their father than with them can also lead to resentment, as well as feelings of insecurity – not feeling good enough or feeling as important and leaving them with trust issues as they grow up. .

Role modeling is a fundamental part of parenting, and a lack of positive role models in a child’s life can have devastating consequences, leaving children confused and making poor decisions.

Fortunately, though, it seems that children have plenty of other role models in their lives without their father, in the form of their mother.

Despite everything, they are taking care of this unique situation they have found themselves in on their own and are working hard, day after day.

They are making sure their children are well and have all their needs met, while at the same time having to live their lives under the watchful and sometimes critical eye of the world.
