BRITNEY Spears’ cellulite denial and reaction to photos showing dimples on her thighs were misguided, according to a New York plastic surgeon.

The cellulite expert explained that the bothersome fat deposits are “normal” but urged the pop icon to seek treatment if they bother her because the irregularities in her skin would “become more apparent.”

Britney, 42, was photographed in June walking through Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.

The pop star disembarked a flight from Mexico wearing a tight pink mini dress that showed off her legs.

The skin on the Gimme More singer’s thighs in the sun looked like dimples.

Plastic surgeon Dr.who did not treat Britney, said the star “always had cellulite”.

“Looking at the new photos, Britney has a cellulite problem like all women do,” Levine told The US Sun.

“The sunlight came from above in Van Nuys, making the cellulite more visible.

“Britney worked hard to get on the right track and was photographed in an unflattering angle.

“But Britney always seems to have had cellulite on the front of her thigh.

“This is probably genetic, and the cellulite will get worse as she ages because of the sagging skin.

“These irregularities in the tissue will become more apparent.”

According to Levine, Britney looked at ease dressed in a form-fitting dress that covered her thighs.

The Baby One More Time hitmaker was braless and wore comfy Birkenstocks.

“Britney looked pretty confident with her body and wearing her tight pink dress,” she said.

“We can clearly see the definition and muscle tone in the legs.

Britney has confidence, but she talks about how she feels about her body.

“Britney has been working out and trying to get better, so I can understand her frustration with her cellulite.”

The Toxic hitmaker responded to the photos via a Instagram publish.

She posted a clip wearing the same minidress. Britney denied having cellulite on her legs.

“The night before the paparazzi took THAT PHOTO of me going to my car!!! Same dress and same girl!!! Look, I get it, I know my body isn’t perfect, but I also know I don’t have cellulite on my legs the way the paparazzi betray me!!!” your text over the read clip.

SKIN CYCLE

Levine suggested the pop star could have responded differently.

“Britney was defending herself,” she said.

“But instead of denying the cellulite on her legs, Britney could have said, ‘I love my body, so what if I have cellulite?’

“Britney has confidence, but she changes depending on how she feels about her body.

“Sometimes she feels good about her body.

“We all go through times when we feel good and times when we don’t.”

Cellulite is the term for fatty deposits that form under the skin.

It appears bulging or dimpled, usually on the thighs, hips, buttocks, and belly.

NORMAL PEOPLE

Levine broke down how cellulite affects most women.

“Cellulite is mostly just a problem for women because of anatomy and hormones like estrogen,” she said.

“Anatomically, women also have thinner skin.

“The bands connect the skin to the lower connective tissue and tend to be more vertical in women.

“In men, they are reticulated, so they don’t cause as much wrinkling and they have thicker skin.

Britney seems to try to improve over time, but it’s not always that easy.

Dr. Levine plastic surgeon

“More than 90% of women have cellulite, so it’s something we should normalize.”

Britney appears to have started her treatment journey in 2007.

She reportedly turned to liposuction at Advanced Lipo Dissolve Center after having sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston.

Britney shared an Instagram post about wrapping her body Laminated paper during the pandemic to tone the skin.

Britney tried treatments called Emsculpt and Forma, which she documented in Facebook in 2021.

ROOM TO IMPROVE

Levine suggested that Britney combine treatments and commit to long-term cellulite control.

“If you look at previous photos of Britney’s cellulite, she also had it on the front of her thigh,” she said.

“Britney seems to try to get better with time, but it’s not always that easy.

“One of his first treatments for cellulite was mesotherapy.

For Britney, it would require a full-time commitment.

“This is an injection of a cocktail of multiple ingredients that we never know what they are.

“If people want to treat cellulite, they will need several treatments and different types.

“It is also necessary to treat all surfaces to make everything smoother.

“This means that for Britney, a full-time commitment would be required.

“She would probably need to treat her leg more than she has in the past.”

A plastic surgeon told The US Sun that Britney, seen here in 2018, would need to treat her leg area more than she has been doing if cellulite bothers her.

Britney’s health and fitness journey has also had her trying different ways to tone up.

“I run a lot, swim a lot and dance a lot too,” said the mother of two AND! News in 2016.

She added: “Tacos, pizza and ice cream. I love sweets. I love Oreo Blasts – they’re the best!”

Britney shared how she ate lots of fruits and vegetables in 2019.

Britney should understand that most women have cellulite like her.

Dr. Levineplastic surgeon

“I have weak eyes, stress, asthma and headaches. So this chart helped me a lot with these problems… and my weight!!!” she wrote on Instagram.

In 2021, Britney tried portion control, and in 2023, after her divorce, she stated that her weight “pretty much stays the same.”

“I’m normally 135 on the scale…that’s my normal weight!!!” she wrote on Instagram.

In April, Britney shared an image of a book about intermittent fasting on Instagram.

IN GENES

Levine suggested that eating fast food and not exercising would be in play.

“The other thing that influences cellulite is diet,” Levine explained.

“It’s about yo-yo dieting and anything that affects the skin.

“The sun and a poor diet will make cellulite worse.

“But even if you eat right and exercise, you can still get cellulite.

“Part of this is genetic and hormonal.

“That means there are limits to what we can do and what we can control.”

Dr. Jennifer Levine’s top tips for treating cellulite.

1. Use a combination of treatments like Emscuplt Neo, Aveli and Hyper-Dilute Radiesse to fill in dimples.

2. Find treatments to stimulate collagen and elastin and improve skin quality.

3. Use creams with caffeine as they can temporarily improve cellulite.

4. Self-tanner can also help create a smoother appearance on the skin.

5. Create a long-term treatment plan with a specialist and commit to it.

“At the end of the day, cellulite is completely normal and we probably all have it somewhere,” Levine added.

“If you want to look better, treatments can help.

“People shouldn’t feel bad about their appearance.

“Britney should also understand this and that most women have cellulite like her.

“The issue is getting the right treatment for celebrities like her.

“Celebrities are often led by others and do not always make their own informed choices.”

Levine suggested that celebrities like Britney may not be making their own informed choices when it comes to treating cellulite properly.
