UNTIL now, many of us happily follow what’s fashionable when it comes to creating a perfect brow.
But Kim Kardashian’s eyebrow technician explained that focusing on trends rather than “face shape” is always a mistake – and the driving force behind from TikTok “blindness tendency in the eyebrows.”
The term describes people who have fallen victim to eyebrow trends rather than choosing styles that flatter their features.
The viral craze has Tiktokers sharing throwbacks of their unflattering eyebrows while calling out their past beauty mistakes.
Many felt misguided and questioned whether they too were suffering from the same illness.
“Am I blind?” asked Krystn Walmsley in her video response to the trend.
“Are they supposed to be this tall?” she frowned, pointing to her eyebrows while using a filter.
Dozens of people flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.
King of Hollywood eyebrows Damone Roberts also weighed in on the viral trend and how it highlights beauty “regrets.”
“Social media is now driving trends,” Roberts told The US Sun.
“People just aren’t realizing that you shouldn’t follow fashion trends with your eyebrow style.
“The secret is to find the right way for you, individually, to bring out your best.
“People quickly jumped on any trend and regretted it several months later.”

The risks are even greater when you introduce microblading into the equation.
The semi-permanent procedure can last from one to three years.
“We get at least three people a day at my eyebrow salon crying because they regret microblading,” Roberts said.
“This is a tattoo on your face.
“Maybe now people can think twice before committing to something that will be there for the rest of their lives.”
Over the years, like everything in beauty and fashion, eyebrow styles have come and gone.
Dictated by celebrities, fashion brands and trendsetters, it has never been a case of anything goes.
The 90s saw thin eyebrows make a comeback, with stars like Gwen Stefani influencing choices and waxing like never before.
Olivia Wilde’s thin eyebrows took shape in the early 2000s, before thick eyebrows became a trend.
In the mid-2000s, everyone started letting it all hang out, thanks in part to Cara Delevingne and her famous bushy eyebrows.
“I pluck some, but I don’t shape them,” she said The Sunday Times style in 2015.
Then came lamination, tattooing and the emergence of eyebrow enhancement products, such as Latisse.
Makeup mistakes led to overly sculpted eyebrows that looked like they had been painted on.
TO FORM
According to Robertowho worked with Madonna, Beyoncé and Rihanna, eyebrows gained prominence.
“Twenty years ago, no one understood how eyebrows were the most important and underrated feature of the face,” he said.
“Now eyebrows are everywhere, from commercials to beauty salons.
“The secret to success is finding the right form for you individually and bringing out your best.”
Interestingly, filled and defined eyebrows arrived with the Kardashian-Jenners.
In 2016, Kyle Jenner set the block eyebrow trend. Kendall Jenner used bleach in 2021.
Kim Kardashian’s standard eyebrow routine is said to be hassle-free.
She is said to wax and trim her eyebrows before shaping them with foundation.
Kim also fills them in with pencil and gel.
SQUARE
Roberts suggested that eyebrow styling should be “individual.”
He always strived to get it right in his busy salon.
“Some people’s faces are oval, some are round, some are square,” he said.
“You can’t stencil the same face shape.
I always tell my clients: let us bring out the best version of you.

“We enhance the individual’s beauty every time they enter my salon.
“People come into my salon with pictures of all the celebrities, and yes… Kim Kardashian is a beautiful woman.
“And coincidentally, I did her eyebrows.
“Everyone is beautiful in their own way.
“I always tell my clients: Let’s bring out the best version of you.”
Damone Roberts’ Top 5 Brow Tips

1 Consult a professional for guidance to bring out your best self.
2 Do not tweeze more than five centimeters between your eyebrows. Too much space makes your eyes look smaller, your nose bigger, and your face fuller.
3 Always brush them upwards, preferably with Damone Roberts Clear Brow Gel. It keeps them perfectly in place without any flaking and artificial appearance.
4 Brightness increases, so for a quick wake-up call, use Damone Roberts Brow Highlighters applied to the brow bone to open up your eyes.
5 Men should also take care of their eyebrows. They comb their facial hair daily, so why neglect the hair above their eyes? Damone Roberts eyebrow scissors are made especially for this.
Now, with the emergence of blindness, what awaits us?
According to Style Creator2024 will include doll brows, soap brows, embellished brows, and more.
But Roberts explained that new trends and predictions may no longer be a factor, thanks to recent concerns about blindness.
“In 2024 and going forward, it’s all about finding the perfect fit for you,” he said.
“To fix mistakes, look for a professional. Make sure you have seen their work.
“The best eyebrow for a Sarah may not be the best for a Brittany.
“We recommend our Brow Gain for excessive hair removal.
“Or if an eyebrow has matured beyond its prime years of growth.
“This vegan product, applied every night, reignites the hair follicle.
“The product gives great results and has become our number one selling item.”
