HODA Kotb could have escaped falling out of a red dress on the Today Show if she had worn the right bra more recently, a stylist says.
She encouraged the daytime TV host to try different styles and increase her bra size as she approaches the 60 mark, given the usual body changes and aging.

Hoda, 59, struggled with her outfit during a segment Thursday on the Today Show.
The presenter tried to push her white bra and straps back, under the straps of her sleeveless red dress.
Jenna Bush Hager, 42, highlighted her co-host’s wardrobe malfunction during the Fourth of July celebration.
As Jenna and Hoda went back and forth, Hoda revealed that her bra was too big.
This is also the age when the skin can become a little saggy and start to stretch.

Stylist Tavia Sharp agreed that Hoda’s dress wasn’t the culprit.
Presenters sat among American flags and a tablecloth.
“Hoda felt prudish with the red dress and bra showing and looked uncomfortable,” Sharp told The US Sun.
“The straps on Hoda’s dress were so small she should have worn a strapless bra.
‘The dress suited her shape perfectly and her breasts were not hanging down.’
Sharp suggested that the anchor should have more frequent bra adjustments to resolve the issue.
“At Hoda’s age, it’s also more important than ever to wear proper underwear so that your clothes fit better,” she said.
“She should also start getting bra fittings more frequently – maybe every two years.
“Hoda’s body is changing over time as she ages – she’s just wearing the wrong bra for this style of dress.”
TO SWITCH OFF
Sharp also noticed that Hoda didn’t seem as put together as usual.
“She dresses conservatively, normally, and doesn’t tend to show a lot of skin,” she said.
“Hoda tends to be more modest in general and wouldn’t come across as furtive.
“This is also the age when the skin can become a little saggy and start to stretch.”
FLEXION
Jenna, whose white dress covered her cleavage, told the mother-of-two to ‘free your breasts’.
Sharp said the comment highlighted a “clash of generations.”
“It was a joke, but Hoda didn’t think it was that funny,” she said.
“It would be the younger generation who don’t wear bras and not someone Hoda’s age and about to turn 60.
“Even here there was a clash of generations, with Hoda looking uncomfortable.
“Jenna put a lot of pressure on it, but Hoda wouldn’t go braless in her 50s.
“Jenna, who seemed more modest, was a little aggressive and Hoda wanted her to stop.”

Hoda, who turns 60 in four weeks, prefers to wear similar styles on her daytime anchor gig.
“I have seven things that I love and they are exercise,” she told One Last Thing in 2023.
“I wore it again and I don’t know if it’s a disaster, but it’s certainly my style,” she added.
Hoda also usually looks ready for the popular weekday morning show with immaculate hair and makeup.

“I like it simple,” Kotb said of his style on the show in 2016.
“There was a red dress, and everyone was saying retire it, and then I did, or someone picked it up,” she said.
“And that pink dress I wear to death,” Hoda added of her wardrobe.

It appears the Oklahoma native is equally organized in her daily routine, including her fashion and fitness regimens.
Hoda sometimes goes to the gym at 3:30 am. She meditates to prepare herself for the busy day ahead.
“When you reach 50 and you’re a woman, you know exactly who you are,” she said in 2022.
“As I’m here to tell you, as you move through your years, your best years — your most confident years, your clearest years — are ahead of you,” she told The Today Show.
LEVEL UP
According to Sharp, who has styled Chrissy Teigan, 38, and Drake, 37, Hoda’s bra struggle caused a drop in confidence.
“The idea of using clothes to change your confidence levels is a big one,” she said.
“Clothes and style are a big part of how we see ourselves.
“Here we see Hoda wondering if her body looks good on camera and a drop in confidence.
“She may have thought that next time she would wear a jacket.”

Hoda is the mother of Haley and Hope, who she shares with her ex, Joel Schiffman.
Joel and Hoda began dating in 2013 but split in 2022. She divorced Burzis Kanga in 2008.
Since February, Hoda has been talking about her love life.
After an interview with pop star Jennifer Lopez, Hoda confirmed that she had started dating.

Sharp suggested that Hoda may be seeing herself differently now that she’s dating again.
“Hoda may have been uncomfortable on national television and worried that the guys she was dating would see this,” she said.
“The way she sees herself has also changed a little.
“She would think she needs to feel sexier and more attractive because she is dating.
“Hoda is probably putting herself out there, so now we see there might be some insecurities around that.
