Simone Biles’ ‘macho’ husband ‘adors her’ and is even ‘submissive’ around her, despite ‘insecure’ comments, says expert

SIMONE Biles and Jonathan Owens have been promoting themselves as sport’s most powerful couple ahead of their latest Olympic bid, a body language expert has said.

She claimed the poses of the world-famous gymnast and her husband in Instagram prove that the backlash against his past comments about his wife “haunted” him.

Simone, 29, shared lots of photos with Jonathan, 29, ahead of the 2024 Olympics.

“I love you with all my heart and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!” the gymnast wrote in the caption. Photograph on Tuesday.

“It’s sad that he doesn’t realize how lucky HE is. Simone, I hope he is as good to you. Truly,” commented one follower.

“He should realize that SHE IS the catch AND the best athlete, and he is the one who will be known as Mr. Biles/Simone Biles’ husband,” wrote another.

The Chicago Bears safety told Texas Monthly in 2019 that when he first saw Simone on a dating app, he “didn’t know” who she was.

His subsequent comments in a podcast interview in December created even more backlash.

The football star was asked if he thought his famous wife was “a good catch”.

“I always say men are the party,” Owens said.

Many of Simone’s fans have criticized him over the comments, but body language expert Judi James insists they don’t need to worry if she isn’t properly appreciated.

“Jonathan’s historical comments seem to have haunted him,” she said.

“In fact, your only comment about it being a catch may have come from a place of insecurity.

“Now he seems completely submissive and shows great interest in his wife and their relationship.

“Jonathan seems a little in awe of Simone.”

James also noticed Jonathan “gravitating” towards his wife.

“Jonathan wants to gravitate close and hold Simone in these poses,” she said.

“He announced that she was his priority, turning his head away from the camera and looking lovingly into Simone’s face.

There are also strong signs of sexual attraction between the two.

“Jonathan couldn’t do more in terms of body language to show he adores Simone.

“This is where he doesn’t even share her spotlight – he naturally leans toward Simone and leans in most of the time.

“His wide leg spread also suggested a macho confidence.”

Simone began dating the NFL player in 2020 after a three-year relationship with WWE star Stacey Ervin Jr.

The couple announced their engagement in early 2022 and were married in April 2023.

James said the poses in the wedding photos were equally revealing.

“Simone frequently checked on Jonathan to see if he was happy and having fun during the big day,” she said.

She may be a little more in control, but sometimes her displays of attachment show that she gives in to him.

” He responded by dancing circles of attention and adoration around her.

“Jonathan was more demonstrative by tilting his head to kiss or caress her.

“He even punched the air in a gesture of victory as they walked out hand in hand.”

According to James, the couple wants to appear like a power couple while also showing “a sexual attraction.”

“There are also strong signs of sexual attraction between the two,” she said.

“They naturally put their arms over each other or reach out to grab each other’s thighs.”

In addition to physical attraction, they “promote an equally balanced sporting power couple.”

“They’re trying to show how they alternate the spotlight,” James said.

“Body language signals from Simone and Jonathan suggest a careful approach in avoiding all the pitfalls of the past.

“But it’s Simone’s nonverbal cues that suggest high levels of emotional maturity.”

Simone is in Paris, where she is preparing for the Olympics.

She also released a four-part documentary covering her life so far.

“Simone pouts toward the camera in her selfies,” James said.

“Jonathan keeps wanting to place his lips on her cheek in acts of adoration.

Simone seems interested in protecting him from criticism or harm.

Jonathan is set to join his wife on July 29 after the Chicago Bears gave him time off to head to Paris.

In May, former Houston Texans player Jonathan attended a gymnastics competition in Connecticut.

Jonathan was shown on TV as “Simon Biles’ husband.”

Simone immediately spoke out against the negative comments.

“You are being blatantly disrespectful to my relationship and my husband,” she wrote on Instagram.

“So I’m going to say this once… Respectfully, go fuck yourself,” she added.

“We can see her arching her back in a gesture of pride or stretching out and exposing her neck to give a reward kiss.

“She has a protective hand on his waist and can become anxious while he competes.

“It will be revealing how Jonathan acts when he sees her compete in Paris.”
