FIRST the Rita Ora collection and now the summer classics – Primark is providing all the style inspiration we need this summer.

Shoppers have been flocking to local stores to buy holiday-perfect dresses and summer-perfect combinations.

And now, it’s a pink and gold maxi dress that leaves shoppers beaming.

The £21 knitted dress is complete with a multi-toned stripe pattern, gold neckline and gold shoulder hem.

Gals Love High Street shopping bible took to Instagram to show it off.

“I’m already regretting not buying this dress at Primark for the holidays,” wrote the creator of the story.

Fashionistas flocked to the comments to give their opinions.

“Oh, you have to go back for that,” Suminder Pelaez replied.

“I need that cute number,” Stephanie Trolle said excitedly.

Other shoppers called the dress “lush” and “stunning.”

“But that’s what it’s like at Primark because when I go to my city I never see anything”, lamented Cleofe Plasencia.

Gals Love High Street’s reel showing off the dress has gone viral, with more than 11,000 people liking it in the last week.

Last week, another £21 dress from Primark left Brits raring to go.

The black and white knit dress, which is currently available in stores but not online, ticks all the boxes.

It’s fair, but also practical and refreshing.

Thin straps frame the straight neckline, while the midi length is designed to rest at mid-calf.

It features geometric mesh patterns, with black lace on the body and blocking out the hem and neckline.

Primark plans to invest more than £100 million in its UK stores by 2024, as it marks 50 years on the British high street.

Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark, said: “We have changed a lot in the 50 years since we opened the doors of our first store in Britain, in Derby, in 1974.

“But deep down, we are still the same.

“We are more committed than ever to offering the best value on the high street and making great fashion more accessible and affordable for everyone.

“This latest investment will mean bigger and better stores, hundreds of new jobs across the country and shows our ongoing commitment to the UK’s high street.”
