IF you haven’t already been living under a rock, you know that Primark has really stepped up its summer collections this year.

There are more celebrity collaborations (we’re looking at you, Rita Ora), combinations designed to mix and match, and even knockoffs of viral Zara pieces.

Additionally, the fast fashion brand is placing an emphasis on its clothes being worn over and over again as part of its commitment to sustainability.

To enable this, bosses have promised to strengthen the durability of all Primark clothing by 2025.

Likewise, they have committed to making all items recyclable by 2027.

So it makes sense that fashion fans are rushing to buy a new cotton dress from Primark.

The Paula Echevarría Tiered Prairie Midi Dress costs just £25 and is designed to “make you feel like a fairy”, the designers said.

The dress is part of the retailer’s latest collection with Spanish actress and model Paula Echevarría.

The hem of the dress is made from 100% cotton, while the lining is made from 95% cotton and 5% lyocell.

You can choose in black or light pink – but it’s the darker shade that has fashionistas gushing on Instagram this week.

“I need that black dress in my life,” said Tracey Stewart.

“Oh my God, that black dress is beautiful,” Elis Horne added.

“It’s THE dress of the summer”, joked Sarah Tuber.

If you don’t want to risk running out the next time you hit Primark, it’s also available to click and collect.

Midi length offers a flattering, chic and versatile silhouette

Primark bosses

“Treat your summer wardrobe to our layered prairie midi dress,” said bosses at the retail giant.

“It’s a romantic style that you can wear occasion after occasion.

“Crafted from delicate layers of lightweight fabric, this dress exudes a romantic, prairie-inspired vibe, perfect for both sunny picnics and special occasions.

“The short ruffled sleeves and square neckline also add a touch of charm, gracefully framing your shoulders and flattering your cleavage.

“The midi length offers a flattering, chic and versatile silhouette, allowing you to dress it up with heels or keep it casual with sandals.

“Whether you’re attending a garden party, dinner with friends or simply enjoying a day of leisure, this midi dress is sure to have you spinning all day in style.”
