A SLIM and fat shopper insists she feels rich enough to rule the world after finding her dream dress that shows off her figure.
Carla Kent, 27, describes herself as “your curvy best friend” and loves helping shoppers find clothes that flatter their shape.
In a recent post (@carlakentx), the makeup artist – from Glasgow – showed off two new dresses she bought from Australian brand Meshki.
Carla insisted her new purchases are “dresses that will make you feel rich.”
First, she modeled a £79 asymmetrical rib knit maxi dress in ivory, which she bought in a large size.
She said, “This is the first. Sorry, what? Look at this dress.
“It covers your arms a little bit, so if you’re a little self-conscious about your shoulders or arms, that’s okay.
“I feel rich, I feel expensive, I love it.”
Next, Carla tried on her new contrast black collar maxi dress – also £79 – which boasts stunning buttons with pearl detailing.
Meshki bosses say the dress is perfect for any occasion and “exudes effortless sophistication” and “timeless allure”.
She insisted: “It’s giving, I don’t need a man, it’s giving, I’m a rich man. I feel like I can rule the world in this dress.
“I think it’s supposed to be midi, but for me it’s ankle length.
“If you want to love yourself, go to Meshki. Meshki, I love you.”
Both dresses are available in sizes XXS – 3XL, with Carla revealing: “I’m about 10-12 years old in dresses and got a large one.”
Her try-on clip has since gone viral, with 54,000 views – and fashion fans are loving it.
“I love them both, especially that dress with the collar is different,” said one.
A second wrote: “That second dress omg.”
A third added: “I need your whole wardrobe. That white dress is BEAUTIFUL.”
Meanwhile, a fourth insisted: “Girl it’s not the dresses it’s the BODY, the body is the smut queen.”
It comes after Carla encouraged people to wear whatever they want, regardless of their shape, while modeling pairs of tiny shorts.
She said: “Life is SHORT, so wear short shorts.
“If I have my tree trunk legs in hot pants, then you can.
“This year we just wear what we want.”
Influencer Carla returned to our TV screens this year with reality show The Agency: Unfiltered returning for a second season on BBC Scotland.
The new series once again followed Creative AquariumScotland’s largest influencer agency, its founders Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore and its clients.
In just one year, series one and two of the show achieved a combined total of over 1 million streams.
Seasons one and two of The Agency: Unfiltered are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
