A FULLER bust model has admitted she spent years hating her breasts before learning how to find comfortable and stylish lingerie.

She said she was told to cover up and begged her mother to get a breast reduction before she could love her body.

Saterra St. Jean has gained more than 65,000 subscribers in YouTubewhere she reviews products for women with large breasts.

Speaking to The US Sun, the 25-year-old confessed that she used to “hate” her size 28K breasts because she repeatedly wore ill-fitting bras.

PAIN SIZE

“My confidence took a hit mainly because I was always told to cover it up,” she said.

“Even though I wear the same tops as everyone else, when you’re a busty woman you get called out a little more.

“It’s unfortunate, but as a teenager you don’t know any different and you think if people are telling me to cover it up then maybe there’s something wrong with me.

“I wasn’t the right size and I was spreading it all over the place.

“I thought my breasts were the problem, so I hated them.

“I couldn’t even look at them in the mirror, it was a very difficult thing for a teenager to go through.

“I still know so many women who can’t look at themselves in the mirror and that’s very, very sad.

“It wasn’t difficult to find the right size, but it was difficult to find the right size.

“A lot of conventional stores tend to put you in a bra that they have set aside for sale, rather than actually caring about women and supporting them.”

St. Jean said she was “constantly stared at,” despite wearing multiple sports bras and tank tops to keep her breasts from bulging out.

PRACTICE OF SELF-LOVE

She tearfully told her mother that she wanted a breast reduction at 16, but was told how important it was in her future sex life and motherhood.

“I’m so happy and grateful that she did this because I’ve learned to love my breasts,” she said.

The fuller-busted model spent time with her aunt, who practices body talk, to work on healing her body image.

She was told to look at herself naked every day and say “I love you” to transform her way of thinking.

“I think everyone thinks the problem is the bra, but the problem is not the bra or your breasts,” she said.

St. Jean said she now loves her body and uses her YouTube channel to advocate for having a large chest.

She created her channel after being surprised by a fitter from Brava Lingerie in Australia, who fitted her to the right size just by looking at her bust.

BEST BUST OPTIONS

She said that in recent years the variety of bras on the market has continually improved.

“I think everyone thinks the problem is the bra, but the problem is not the bra or your breasts,” St. Jean said.

St Jean said every woman should have an everyday bra, sports bra, strapless bra, wireless bra and sexy style

“It’s really just the size.

“There is such a lack of education about actual bra fits that women don’t even know what their size is.

“Many guess or go to fitters and everything still goes wrong.

“Your bra size can change depending on the brand, style and even color.”

Saterra St Jean is the founder of the Fullerbust Bestie YouTube channel and co-founder of lingerie brand Monsera Intimates.

She told The US Sun that every woman should have five styles in her bra collection.

  • Two or three bras for everyday use
  • Sports bra
  • Sexy lace bra
  • Strapless bra
  • Wireless bra

DEAF TO THE TROLLS

St. Jean said focusing on her self-love journey helped her ignore negative comments when she started sharing her knowledge about bras online.

She advises anyone hesitant to embrace their curves to follow the mirror exercise that worked for her.

“Take time to really get to know who you are and what you love about yourself and stand in front of the mirror, totally naked,” she said.

“It will feel really weird at first, but just say, I love you and look at yourself.

“Focus on how you feel about yourself and not what other people think of you.”
