A SHOPPING fanatic has revealed she has found the perfect top you can wear all year round – insisting it will look just as good at Christmas as it does in a bikini.
Ellie Butler is the queen of high street shopping and regularly finds fashionable bargains in stores like Primark, H&M and even Sainsbury’s.
On a recent shopping spree, she packed a selection of shorts, tops and a dress from Zara that will be perfect for spring and summer.
And the beautiful blonde – Celtic’s girlfriend Liam Shawcurrently on loan at Wigan Athletic – admits she is “obsessed” with one specific purchase she can use in any given season.
The plain metallic knit sweater is new for spring and costs £29.99.
It comes in small, medium and large sizes, with Zara bosses warning it has a “larger than usual fit”.
Ellie insists the silver purchase will be perfect to wear in the UK during the summer and even in Tenerife as part of an evening outfit.
Trying it out, the size 10 fashionista – who is 1.70m – combined the knit with Zara denim shorts, high heels and a silver heart bag.
She said: “I think this outfit is cool. I like it very much.
“I just think it’s cool and comfortable. You didn’t try very hard, but you look effortlessly cool.
“I love the metallic mesh. I think it’s something a little different and you’ll wear it all year round too.
“You could wear this to Christmas parties, and over your bikini it would look really cute because it’s a little bit mesh.
“I really, really love it.”
But if the long sleeves are putting you off for summer, there’s also a vest version of the knit top – and it’ll save you a few pennies, priced at £22.99.
Elsewhere in the store, fashion fans are obsessed with Zara’s new dress, which is perfect for hot summers and will look amazing on all body shapes.
Unfortunately, the dress has received so much attention that it has now started to be sold online, with only limited sizes still available.
Originally available in XS – XL, there are limited sizes on the Zara website at the moment.
To make sure you don’t miss out on this holiday staple, we suggest heading to your local branch where you can find it for just £35.99.
The ‘secret’ symbols on Zara clothing labels

Next time you go shopping at Zara, take a look at the tags on the clothes.
You may find a small shape next to the size tag, which serves a greater purpose than being decorative.
According to fashion and beauty Instagram account Dailychiclife, there’s a reason Zara tags have the symbols and you can use the shapes to find a better fit.
In a video, the Zara expert wrote that the square symbol means the garment is true to size.
Meanwhile, a triangle on the tag means the item is small and you may want to size up.
Lastly, a circle symbol on a Zara clothing tag indicates that the item runs large, which means you may want to size down if you want a tighter fit.
