“All I have to say is Rita, Rita Ora – this thing flopped from £20 to £2,” she said in a video on her TikTok page.

Picking up another black top, Nissy added: “This goes from £14 to £7.”

“Rita, then come and get your things from Primark.

“He failed!”

She added in writing, “POV, your agent sold you a dream.”

“Mhmmmm, not everything is for everyone,” Nissy captioned her video.

People in the comments were quick to weigh in, with one writing: “I need to understand who Rita Ora’s fans are?

“I’ve never met a single person who liked her. I don’t understand!”

“Ngl I’ve been waiting for this moment since the collection dropped,” another added.

“She was trying to sell coats for £70?? in Primark??”

“I work at Primark and I never have to restock because no one buys it!” a third commented.

But others were quick to defend Rita and her Primark collection.

“These collections were Primark’s best quality,” wrote one.

Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering fashionable items at such incredible prices? According to the bosses, it fell to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – thanks to this they are able to save money by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • Although their clothes offer the “latest trends,” they “do not use expensive hangers, tags, or labels.”
  • And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to package our t-shirts so they’re ready to go straight to the shelf.”

“Don’t sleep on it!”

“Let me buy it now,” insisted another.

“Nahhh, this collection is,” said a third.

“I loved!”

“This seems unnecessarily cruel,” someone fumed.

“Rita now has some good things to be honest,” commented another.

“The collection wasn’t great. But I still bought a dress and boots,” said another person.

The newest line – Spring/Summer 2024 – was Rita’s third collection for the store.

Speaking about the range, Rita said: “I’m so excited to be launching the next stage of my journey with Primark.

“This time we are ready for Spring, with fun and floral pieces, including casual and elegant options perfect for day to night looks or a special occasion.

“This collection was designed to be worn again and again and truly reflect the season.

“Denim has been a staple style in our collections and has always been one of my favorites.

“I love the fun floral prints we added this time and can’t wait to see how these pieces inspire chic new looks.”

The collection was co-designed by Rita and Primark and 60 percent of it was made from “recycled or more sustainable materials”.
