EQUIPPED with a low-waisted boho skirt, it was at the height of fashion in the 90s.

But now those who tried out the trend at the time are left groaning, after Primark apparently reintroduced the disc belt.

A fashion fan took to TikTok to share the latest '90s trend that's reappeared in stores

“Recently I was joking about coming full circle, and Primark did it,” one woman wrote over her TikTok video.

She then turned the camera to Primark’s belt section, with the much-loved disc belt taking pride of place.

“They just brought back the early 2000s drip with the record belt,” she added.

The belt comes in brown or black, with bronze-gold studs, and costs £7.

It also comes in sizes from XXS to XL.

“Never thought I’d see the day of my teenage drip reappear in 2024,” she captioned the TikTok video.

And people in the comments section were equally concerned about the trend’s return.

“I don’t think I can face this,” one of them sighed.

“Saw someone wearing this last night with a long white skirt,” added another.

“WOW!!! Wait, so we’re officially old???” a third commented.

‘I need this, wow!’ say shoppers as they rush to Primark to buy luggage sets perfect for their trips – and they’re a bargain too

“Oh no, not the disc belt!” someone wrote.

“I don’t think I have the energy for this a second time,” said another.

“Absolutely not a second time,” another person commented.

“I saw that yesterday… please don’t!” another pleaded.

“I don’t have the energy for this comeback,” said another person.

All the 90s trends that are back

It may be 2024, but fashion fans are looking to the past when it comes to new styles. So what ’90s trends are making a comeback these days?

Claw Clips

These hair accessories were a huge trend in the ’90s, but now they’re more popular among those experimenting with the “clean girl” aesthetic. Designers like Prada have released their own versions, although there are thousands of colors and styles to choose from on the high street.

Platform slippers

Again a popular choice among fashionistas in the ’90s, these heels have made a comeback with designers like Balenciaga trying their luck with their own styles.

Cargo pants

Once worn by All Saints stars, cargo pants became a popular trend among teenagers in the ’90s. But now they’ve gotten a fashion makeover, with stars like Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber putting their own spin on the trend.

Jeans and a beautiful top

It was the phrase that defined fashion for a decade, and now famous faces like Sofia Richie are sporting the reinvented trend – pairing their own denim with a more sophisticated top. But are you willing to take your cute jeans and tops out of your wardrobe for a second time?

“Once was enough,” another laughed.

“I refuse haha,” wrote another person, while another added: “JUST NO! Just looking at them makes me feel physically sick!”

However, others were more in agreement with the trend’s reappearance.

“Brilliant! I loved mine,” wrote one.

“I can’t lie, I’m so ready for the 90s/00s to return!” another added.

“It’s a good thing I’m a collector at heart because I can take my ‘vintage’ gear and make it look cool again like this!” a third commented.
