A mum has revealed how she set herself a shopping challenge to get her daughter an entire summer wardrobe on the cheap.
First-time mom Lola discovered that her daughter recently lost a lot of her clothes after a growth spurt.
She decided to take her daughter to Primark to pack some summer items and was pleasantly surprised at how little she spent.
Lola documented this by filming her shopping trip, which was then shared by Primark Instagram page.
Speaking about Primark’s summer kids’ range, she says: “Everything is bright and colorful and definitely delivers summer.
“The temperature at the moment is obviously not good, so I also picked up some transition pieces.
“Now that she’s a little older, I love that she can pick out some clothes herself.”
Lola showed the camera some of the children’s range, which starts at £1.50.
Lola herself won a pack of two pink floral dresses for £4.50 and a yellow and orange top and leggings set for £3.50.
Lola adds: “The best part was that I managed to pick out seven looks for under £40, which was a very successful shopping trip.”
The summer range for their kids isn’t the only thing shoppers are rushing to pack, as they’re also raving about Primark’s new Stanley cups in a larger size.
Primark has launched even bigger cups with its Stanley models – and shoppers are going crazy for them.
The retail giant now stocks 40-ounce cups in pink, beige, and leopard print — double the size of its first 20-ounce cups.
The 40oz stainless steel travel mug with straw comes in pink and ‘mocha’ for just £10.
And because it’s made from stainless steel, your water will stay cold for hours.
“With a capacity of 40 ounces (more than a liter!), this large stainless steel travel mug is perfect for ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the day,” Primark bosses said.
“With a handle for easy transport, it comes with a metal straw to make sipping easier.
“While the concave flat design means you can place it on your desk, kitchen counter and even store it in your car cup holder with ease.
“Coming in a fabulous chic pink and brown shade, you’ll love having this cup by your side.”
There is also a beige version with a leopard print.
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering fashionable items at such incredible prices? According to the bosses, it fell to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – thanks to this they are able to save money by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- Although their clothes offer the “latest trends,” they “do not use expensive hangers, tags, or labels.”
- And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to package our t-shirts so they’re ready to go straight to the shelf.”

“Stay hydrated on car journeys or at your desk with the help of this cup,” Primark bosses added.
“With a capacity of up to 40 ounces of your favorite beverage, you’ll always have a sip on hand.
“With a handle and straw for easy drinking, we can see this becoming a must-have in your life.”
Shoppers were quick to say the gigantic cups were “the best thing they’ve ever bought.”
