It’s no secret that Marks & Spencer has some of the best clothes on the market.
From basic tees and everyday leggings to must-have summer dresses and super-comfy heels that mimic designer styles, the retailer has it all.
And her new knit set, part of M&S’s hotly anticipated summer collection, is about to sell out.
It has already received rave reviews from some fashion fans for being non-sticky and having a “flattering silhouette.”
The coordinating one comes in two shades of silver and ‘ivory’ – both of which have been a big hit.
The cotton-rich textured knit top will set you back £29.50.
“This cotton-rich knit top is a versatile piece that fits easily into your warm-weather wardrobe,” said M&S bosses.
“Regular fit, with round neckline and sleeveless design.
“A textured open mesh creates a light, airy feel.”
The matching £35 cotton-rich textured knit midi skirt is made from the same knit.
“This knit skirt is a subtle option for your smart-casual wardrobe, made from cotton-rich material to create a breathable feel,” M&S bosses added.
“It has an elastic waistband for all-day comfort, and the textured fabric gives it a modern look.
“The piece is completed with a midi hem for a timeless finish.”
One shopper recommended wearing the blouse tucked into a skirt and praised how it can be “dressed up or down.”
“I’m a size 12 and went for medium,” said another about the knit top.
“It’s a great length for jeans and skirts.
How to look chic on a budget

Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger and beauty journalist Samantha Silver have revealed how you can elevate your looks without spending hundreds of pounds.
- Never spend on designer jeans: River Island ”always has a great selection of modern jeans that follow current trends”. The high street retailer offers a huge range of sizes for UK 6 – UK 18 and three leg lengths – and prices start at an affordable £25.
- There are no rules for jewelry: ”Buy something at a car boot sale or charity shop, browse Vinted and eBay, buy something in the clothing section of your local supermarket when shopping, or check out high street clothing stores.”
- Don’t forget your favorite sites: With a growing number of second-hand sites like Vinted and Depop, there’s no excuse not to buy – or sell – used clothes. Gemma, for example, managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunglasses for just £17.
“It’s not sticky at all and the neckline is very flattering.
“I wear a sports bra under mine.
“M&S, you’ve done it again; great basic piece.”
“This top and skirt combo is beautiful,” said another.
“It reminds me of something I wore in the seventies.”
