FASHION fans were stunned by Fashion Nova’s latest ad for its new denim campaign.

With summer just around the corner, we’re all planning to get more out of our meat and ditch the layers.

But the fashion brand has sparked controversy with its latest summer campaign featuring two gorgeous models poolside.

The post read, “Summer vibes are high + calling you and your bestie.”

In the clip, one of the models was seen wearing baggy 90s-style jeans – or so it seemed.

Why? This is trash.

As the models strutted their stuff, they could be seen wearing baggy jeans and cropped white t-shirts.

Underneath, they both wore a classic black triangle bikini.

Everything seemed as it should be until the models walked away from the camera lens.

As they did so, one model’s jeans appeared to be unfinished as viewers were treated to a view they weren’t expecting.

As she walked away, her bottom was on display as her jeans appeared to have been cut off at the hem.

The bold jeans left some fashionistas intrigued and some even claimed they were trash.

As the clip progresses, the models strip down to their bikinis and relax on lounge chairs by the pool.

After browsing the website for the jeans – it appears the cheeky style was made just for the advert and is not available to purchase.

The post on the Fashion Nova @ swimwear accountnovawim received a mixed reaction from fashion fans.

While some said they loved the aesthetic, others claimed the jeans were useless and ridiculous.

One person wrote: “Really? Wow, other than ridiculous, nothing against beautiful girls.”

New Fashion Controversies

It’s not the first time that the fashion brand, launched in 2006, has gone viral for its bold looks.

  • A top launched by the brand was compared to a ‘hand towel’ due to its lack of fabric.
  • This isn’t the first time they’ve released jeans to show off their merchandise – selling cut-off pants that leave little to the imagination.
  • Shoppers couldn’t help but laugh as they debuted a beach cover-up that covers…nothing.
  • The clothing line’s approach to Halloween costumes has left many claiming their childhoods are ruined.
  • Although the design of a dress was so complex that customers were unable to wear it.

Another commented: “Why? This is bullshit.”

“You wear weird pants,” wrote a third.

Others seemed to be big fans of denim.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “I need these jeans.”

“I’m in love,” said a fifth.

Someone else added: “Absolutely beautiful.”
