The online shopper had to take such drastic measures after his card got stuck inside the black bag he allegedly received from the fast fashion giant.

After the person removed part of the inner lining of the crocodile-print accessory, they saw that the mini bag had been made from a COVID test kit.

The shocking discovery has since taken over the social media platform, where @emperkyxxxx admitted he was stunned.

In the video now viralwhich was viewed more than 1.2 million times in just one day, the fashionista shared the big shock.

”POV: Your card got stuck in the bag you bought from Shein, so you have to rip it open and find out it’s made from a COVID test kit box.”

The bright orange packaging revealed that the kit contained two self-tests to perform at home, providing results within minutes.

The unusual discovery, the shopper added, caught them “off guard” – but the fashionista continued to praise the China-based brand for “recycling” old materials.

Soon, dozens of TikTok users rushed to comment to share their thoughts — and @emperkyxxxx wasn’t the only one to make such a discovery.

After tearing open the bag, a person discovered that the Shein purchase had been made with a hepatitis B test.

””, wrote fellow fashionista named Hana in the caption of her clip.

Controversy Over Shein’s Baby Clothing Line

The incident left people in hysterics, with one writing: “Recycle Queen Shein.”

Another added: “And they say SHEIN is polluting.”

“I mean… it’s Shein, what did you expect,” someone wondered.

“My grandmother also gave me this for Christmas,” wrote another horrified person.

The Sun has contacted Shein for a comment.

What is Shein and is it legit?

Shein is an online-only fast fashion retailer based in China that has become the number one shopping destination for many people around the world.

The company was valued at $66 billion in 2023, surpassing popular brands Zara and H&M.

The fashion retailer was founded in late 2008 by entrepreneur and marketing expert Xu Yangtian, also known as Chris Xu.

Shein is a legitimate sales site and is not a phishing scam.

But you may receive a disappointing order or experience shipping issues if you order from the website, according to reviews.

There were a lot of quality complaints, which makes sense when you look at the price tag.

Recently, the fast fashion company, valued at an astronomical $66 billion in 2023, caused fury among parents over its latest baby clothes, including padded bikinis and leather crop tops.

“Extremely questionable,” was how one mother of one, Jamie, felt about the collection in her video,

“If I told you all these clothes were for a grown woman, I bet you wouldn’t guess me.

“Who in their right mind thought of listing this as a baby item of clothing?” she said, introducing the line, which also included minidresses and ruffled skirts.
