Then, she accessed the Google app and searched for images and put the image she had saved into the system.
Once that was done, she had a series of similar items pop up on the app.
but the really clever part came later.
Instead of letting the search engine show items from multiple places, she typed “vinted” into the search bar.
This way, all similar items listed on Vinted of the image you searched for appear – meaning you don’t have to waste time searching for hours or typing in different keywords.
“Once the gatekeeping is done, it always works very well,” said the fashion fan.
“Save your pennies, girls! And be sure to message the seller before purchasing, because sometimes Google displays items that were listed a long time ago,” she added.
The clip posted to his TikTok account @eviewears It has since gone viral with over 58,000 views and 4,000 likes.
Fashion fans quickly took to the comments thanking Evie for sharing the clever hack.

Do you need to pay taxes on items sold on Vinted?

QUICK tax facts from the Vinted team…
- The only time an item may be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and makes a profit (sold for more than you paid for it). You can still use your £3,000 capital gains tax-free allowance to offset it.
- Generally, only commercial sellers who trade for profit (buy goods with the aim of selling them for more than they paid for them) may have to pay tax. Business sellers trading for profit can use a £1,000 tax break, which has been in place since 2017.
