A CUSTOMER was left horrified after ordering a £3 top from Vinted – only for it to arrive in a ‘nappy full of poop’.

After purchasing the blouse on the second-hand app, the user was disgusted to see the condition it arrived in.

The black top appears to have arrived in a package of diapers with a dirty one included in the bag.

Sharing photos, the black top appears to have arrived in a package of nappies – with a dirty one included in the bag.

The exchange of messages between buyer and seller was shared on social media, where it received more than 10 thousand likes.

The customer says the shirt was “absolutely covered in shit” and called it “disgusting.”

They added: “It sucks, I’m throwing up.

“I had to throw the lid away…

“I’ve been using Vinted for four years and have never had any problems.” [sic]

The seller states that he believes he sent the clean diaper and diaper bag “to recycle and reuse”, stating that it was all they had available to protect the item and send it “as quickly as possible”.

They go on to explain, “My husband must have put the used diaper back in the diaper bag while we were doing this so we know when it’s time to stock up again, I’m sorry.”

The seller suggests that the buyer “clean, wash and soak” the contaminated top and offers to pay for dry cleaning.

Instead, the customer opts for a refund.

The exchange horrified Instagram users.

One viewer commented: “At this point I would refund, compensate, delete Vintado and all my social media and book an extended vacation to get over this monstrosity.”

“First of all, why would you send clothes with diapers? Am I missing something here? another perplexed user wrote.

Someone joked: “Cropped top or shit top?”

“It’s a bad day to have eyes,” joked another viewer. [sic]

Your rights if you have a problem with your Vinted order

Vinted customers in the UK have rights under the company’s buyer protection policy, which is automatically applied to every order placed through Vinted for a fee.

This policy includes a refund policy which means customers are entitled to a refund if:

  • Your package never arrives
  • Your package was damaged during transportation
  • Your item is significantly not as described (SNAD)

The Vinted Refund Policy unfortunately does not cover items that doesn’t suit you or doesn’t suit you. You can still talk to your seller about a return, but it’s up to them to decide whether to accept the return or not.

If you need a refund, you need to report the problem within 2 days to request it.

Another person added: “I am completely convinced these people are not real. How?????!!!!!!!”

“Diapers are expensive, who the hell is sending a clean one?!” pointed out a user.

Another user called it “biological warfare,” while others hoped it was a joke.

Surprisingly, this is not the first time a similar incident has occurred on the app.

Earlier this year, Ishan Ali was stunned when the postman knocked on his door and handed him a bag of his least favorite flavor of chips: cheese and onion.

Inside? Some clothes he ordered from Vinted.

Meanwhile, other sellers avoid any big surprises, with one listing a dress for £2.80 and fully admitting it was “a bit vomity”.
