A WOMAN was violently attacked after asking for advice on which jeans to wear to a wedding.
Georgia-Mae, a first-time stay-at-home mum, took to social media to ask her followers which outfit would be most appropriate.

In the short clip, Georgia-Mae first modeled a pair of ripped black jeans, with a black tank top, pink blazer and high heels.
For the next Outfit, Georgia-Mae wore black skinny jeans, with the same blouse, blazer and high heels.
But social media users were left completely divided over the mum’s clothing choices – with many hailing her “lazy” and “frumpy” appearance.
In the short video, posted online with the caption ‘Please help’, Georgia-Mae asked her followers: “Girls, help, I don’t [know] which jeans to wear to a weekend wedding.”
As she posed in her living room, surrounded by children’s toys, the young mother, who gave birth this year, turned to the side to show off her postpartum figure in each look.
Georgia-Mae later confirmed that the bride and groom approved of her decision to wear jeans.
She explained: “The bride and groom have set a dress code and guests can wear whatever they want. I also got approval for jeans from both.
“The groom told me he doesn’t care what I wear, he just wants me there to celebrate his special day.”
The mother also added that she will only attend at night, as she shared: “Only at night. If I went all day, I would have chosen a dress.
“It’s our first “night out” in a year, so [we’re] I’m going to make the most of it.”
But the TikTok clip, posted just 21 hours ago under the username @they call mezipsIt clearly left many speechless as it quickly racked up 77,600 views.
Social media users were completely divided over Georgia-Mae’s outfits and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person said: “Jeans for a wedding???? It’s getting out of alignment.”

At the same time, another woman said: “I would be LIVID if someone came to my wedding in jeans, how about a jumpsuit, smart pants or a dress?!”
Meanwhile, someone else advised: “Pick a dress.”
To this, Georgia-Mae responded and confirmed: “I don’t feel comfortable wearing one.”

I will never forget the wedding I went to in October 2022, where a guest wore a white dress.
It was ill-fitting, knee-length, and looked nothing like a real wedding dress, but that didn’t stop everyone from judging her.
The rules about wedding guest attire — which are annoyingly stricter for women than men — are meant to be about “not outshining the bride,” which in reality is very difficult to do on someone else’s wedding day.
But if you get it wrong as a guest, you’ll end up looking a little silly and in front of a bunch of people who don’t know you personally.
It’s just not the occasion for your new white dress, no matter how much online stores love to throw it in the ‘wedding guest’ section.
I would avoid anything too tight/short and ditch the super formal dresses unless the dress code requires them – you don’t want to wear a long sequin dress to a smart casual event.
Personally I don’t like black dresses either, it’s not a funeral.
Otherwise you will be quite safe. Technically, wearing red means you’re in love with your fiancé, but that’s the kind of rule most people would scoff at these days.
I always check the bridesmaids’ color, just to be safe, after the Spanish wedding, where I saw them walk down the aisle in exactly the same dress I had in my Asos shopping basket weeks before.
When in doubt, it’s safest to just check with the bride… but if you’re already doubting your dress, this might be the answer you need.
However, not everyone was so surprised by Georgia-Mae’s denim choices.
One fashion fan wrote: “What’s wrong with jeans for a wedding? Wear what makes you feel comfortable. But the second ones look much more flattering with the blazer.”
A second agreed: “Wear what you feel comfortable in!”
While another wrote: “You look good in both.”
Following feedback from TikTok users, Georgia-Mae added that she “lost the ripped pair”.
