A PAIR of fashion-savvy friends found the perfect wedding guest dresses on Quiz – and proved they look great in all sizes.

Christie Mac, who is a size 22, and her best friend Sophie Martin, who is a size six, modeled two midi dresses from the high street store.

And the pair insisted they are obsessed with the “beautiful” prints.

They said: “A moment for the print on these Quiz dresses girls, wow!!

“Whether you’re going to a wedding, on vacation, or for a run, these dresses would be absolutely perfect.”

First, the girls tried on the same satin Midaxi dress with a pink marble print.

The dress costs £39.99 in sizes 8-18 and £44.99 in sizes 20-26.

It features a flattering neckline, with draped straps and a knee-high slit.

Christie paired hers with gold strappy sandals and a light blue bag, while Sophie opted for acrylic heels and a pink clutch.

Next, the girls showed off matching blue ombre mesh dresses.

The Christie’s Curve Blue Ombre Mesh Midaxi Dress costs £36.99 and comes in sizes 16-26.

Meanwhile, Sophie’s Midaxi asymmetrical dress is a little cheaper at £34.99, and is available in sizes 6 to 16.

The girls wore the same shoes again, but this time Christie opted for a gold clutch while Sophie chose a blue bag.

Quiz bosses said: “How great do the lovely Sophie and Christie look in these perfect summer styles? Shop now online and in store.”

And the girls’ video, posted on their joint Instagram account, @sophieandchristieit certainly appears to be impressing some shoppers as it has racked up over 146,000 views on the social media site.

Fashion fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the girls’ shopping finds.

Wedding Guest Dress Code Dos and Don’ts

By Josie Griffiths, Fabulous deputy editor and bride-to-be.

I will never forget the wedding I went to in October 2022, where a guest wore a white dress.

It was ill-fitting, knee-length, and looked nothing like a real wedding dress, but that didn’t stop everyone from judging her.

The rules about wedding guest attire — which are annoyingly stricter for women than men — are meant to be about “not outshining the bride,” which is actually pretty hard to do on someone else’s wedding day.

But if you get it wrong as a guest, you’ll end up looking a little silly and in front of a bunch of people who don’t know you personally.

It’s just not the occasion for your new white dress, no matter how much online stores love to throw it in the ‘wedding guest’ section.

I would avoid anything too tight/short and ditch the super formal dresses unless the dress code requires them – you don’t want to wear a long sequin dress to a smart casual event.

Personally I don’t like black dresses either, it’s not a funeral.

Otherwise you will be quite safe. Technically, wearing red means you’re in love with your fiancé, but that’s the kind of rule most people would scoff at these days.

I always check the bridesmaids’ color, just to be safe, after the Spanish wedding, where I saw them walk down the aisle in exactly the same dress I had in my Asos shopping basket weeks before.

When in doubt, it’s safest to just check with the bride… but if you’re already doubting your dress, this might be the answer you need.

One said: “OMG those dresses are beautiful and you both look beautiful.”

“Wow, I love this so much,” said another.

A third wrote: “I had it tried for Women’s Day!”

A fourth chimed in: “Some beautiful prints,” accompanied by heart-eyed emojis.

“I loved the dresses,” echoed a fifth.

Meanwhile, a sixth added: “Love these! They both look fabulous.”
