One person took Reddit get furious after spotting a seller trying to scam buyers with a Shein top.

Sharing screenshots of the black vest with a skull emblem on the front, they wrote: “This really annoys me.

“Can we collectively agree that hinod should be cheap and genuine?”

They posted a photo of the top selling for £5.78 on Shein, and the same top listed as a “vintage Y2K black skull top” – with a price tag of £17.50 on Vinted.

Not only that, but the cheeky seller also used Shein’s photo to advertise his blouse.

“I’m here completely downsizing my clothes so they sell so fast,” the Reddit poster added.

“I swear they always label things as ‘vintage,’” one person commented on the post.

“I do this because I mostly shop at vintage secondhand stores – but the clothes ARE vintage, which usually means used,” said another.

“Not ‘New without tags’ like this post…”

“Yes, I feel like these sellers do this just to remove the label and claim they don’t know where it comes from,” another person responded.

“I assume the only people buying this are kids who think they are buying vintage clothes???” another questioned.

“Right?? At least I hope no adults fall for this.”

“I’m reporting listings like this left and right (I like browsing the vintage side of Vinted),” said someone else.

“So far, Vinted has taken action (they sent a message with their verdict)!

“Unfortunately, it seems like nothing happens until we as buyers do something.”

“Yes, I see that many people buy cheap things on Aliexpress etc. and then they sell it for triple the price,” wrote another.

“I’m not sure if this goes against community guidelines, but I would still report it.”

“This type of person needs prison time,” said another person.

“Oh my God, I’m here trying to sell all my stuff that doesn’t fit or isn’t my style anymore.

“But it all comes from my personal closet and I can’t believe people actually do this for profit.”
