A Scottish designer admitted life feels “crazy” right now after Taylor Swift bought more pieces from his clothing brand.
The Eras Tour singer, 34, was seen wearing a green velvet dress by Perthshire, New York-based fashion brand Little Lies at the start of the year.
The £58 Crushed Sweet Jane Mini Dress It sold out within hours of Swifties finding out where it came from.
And it looks like it was just the beginning of Taylor’s love story with the Scottish company.
The global sensation, who just completed three nights of her Eras Tour in Edinburgh, has since purchased a further eight Little Lies items.
Co-founder Jade Robertson told Scottish Daily Express: “If all celebrities shopped at independent businesses, it would make a huge difference.
“She bought nine items from us, but I only saw her use two [including the green velvet dress].
“She was photographed wearing a form-fitting dress in Singapore. It was black with dark purple… a velvet floral number.”
She added: “It’s the fact that not only did she discover us, but she bought it from us and then used it.
“And to think she chose this [dress] going all the way to Singapore is crazy, a little Scottish dress.
The £88 Devore Rooms on Fire Slip Dress is available in sizes 8-24.
But unsurprisingly, it’s completely sold out online, even with pre-orders closed.
Jade previously spoke about her excitement about her brand’s billionaire fan.
She said: “We can’t believe it! I think we’re all still in shock, to be honest.
“Seeing one of the most recognized people in the world wearing one of our designs is crazy.
“We were already big fans of Taylor Swift and having her seal of approval means a lot to us.”
Jade founded the award-winning independent family business with her husband Stuart.
The duo started with an online boutique located in their bedroom, bringing together their love of music, style and vintage.
Since its inception in 2015, Little Lies has drawn on foundational inspirations, building a strong brand image, staying true to its roots and gaining a loyal following in the process.
The brand’s influences are key muses and subcultures, as opposed to current trends, resulting in a timeless product that appeals to its customers’ personal style.
Designed in Perthshire, all styles are also available in UK sizes 8 to 24 and created in small, sustainable runs.
This ensures that they do not overproduce, creating minimal waste along with unique products.
Focusing on creating unique pieces that are timeless and different from what you find on the streets.
Their goal is to provide considered, quality clothing that you will carry with you throughout your life.
